Transfer iPhone music/photos/apps onto new Macbook Pro?

Allison

I just purchased a Macbook Pro yesterday and I plugged my iPhone 5 into it and was expecting the music to be automatically transferred to my computer, but that did not happen. How do I transfer my music/photos/apps onto my macbook? The computer I had previously used for iTunes is gone and unable to use.

Answer
Backup! Hi! I'm from México !

Friend must first download iTunes to your PC or MACBOOK.

Download it from here:

http://www.apple.com/iTunes.

After downloading the iTunes you connect your iPhone.

Well to make a backup (storing music on your pc) you need a program called Sharepod, with this program you can store all your music on your pc or MacBook without being folder by folder. It is very easy to use.

Sharepod Download from here:

With photos is easy, as it is not necessary to iTunes! Just connect your iPhone to your MacBook or PC and you yourself can spend your pictures!

With applications from opening iTunes and then transfer purchases (App) to iTunes and go!

But if you need more help see these tutorials:

Can apple transfer my photos&apps if I get a new iphone?

cameron

My iphone 4 is really messed up,I got the power button fixed and now its just all screwed up and wont stay on unless its plugged up and yet keeps shutting off. If i was to go to the apple store and buy a new iphone 4s would they be able to transfer all my photos and apps to my new one? Im more concerned about saving the photos than the apps.

Answer
Yes i think so. Just sync your whole iPhone onto your iTunes library and then you should in turn be able to sync it from there onto your new phone:)
