How do I transfer music and apps to iTunes library from my new preused iPod touch?

It was bought second hand with the previous owners apps and music still on it. I'd like to keep the apps and some of the music. So how can I transfer them to my iTunes library. It keeps asking me for authorization and I haven't got the password to the old account and no way to get it. Is there a work around to this?

Answer
It won't be a problem if you use AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer.
It automatically transfers your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos to computer and iTunes. Backup all your music and video in a couple of clicks. Really makes music and videos sharing pretty simple and enjoyable. Wish this can help and good luck.

I think its step by step guide is most helpful.

It is easy to use and you can try it now.

How to make a complete backup of your Android phone?

M&M'S

I want to find a solution to backing up my Android phone that is simple like iPhone backup on iTunes. Any application that will do this?

Answer
The ONLY way to make a *complete* backup of your phone is to have root access, and use one of these (or similar):
Titanium Backup - complete backup (individually) of all apps and data, including data stored in private storage
ClockworkMod - complete backup (as a single file) to completely restore the phone to previous state

If you do NOT want to root your phone (or don't know how), you can still back up the apps themselves (not the data) using Astro File Manager. You can also copy all of the data off of the SD card, which contains a lot of your user data (such as photos, music, etc.)

In any event, Google backs up a lot of the important data (email, wifi passwords, contacts, etc) to your Gmail account automatically.

What are some good apps to get for the iphone?

i'm getting bored of my apps and would like to get some new ones.

Answer
I like Ambiance because you can download and mix sounds and sleep. or have in the background. There's many more apps like this - search for "ambient sounds."

"Awesome Facts" is full of interesting facts and useless information. They upgrade constantly - and are in the many thousands now.

I have my credit card and bank apps on here for quick access.

I transfer my pdf's to the iPhone using ChiliPrinter - there are others, I'm sure.

I put the "Crazy Candle" on at night and it plays iTunes in the background.

The "Elite Browser" is great for looking at web pages in full screen.

Google Earth is a must.

I use iNapkin for notes.

IndieBound to buy books.

Flash my Brain for flash cards.

Individual newspaper apps for reading around the world.

Phanfare's Photon immediately transfers my photos to a web site.

Shazam identifies music by holding your iPhone up to a speaker or in a car, etc.

Sound Pro is a lot of fun and can be remotely controlled from another computer or iPhone.

Stanza for free ebooks.

Wallpaper Labeler to put your email or whatever on your home-screen if you lose your iPhone.

Memengo Wallet for your passwords & confidential info.

For recipes, do searches for the type or nationality of food you are interested in.

Yahoo Messenger.

Good Luck.

how do i unlock my iphone to start using it?

Anthony Ja

I am planning to get me a white iphone 4. If I buy one on ebay that says its locked, does that mean i cant even access my apps like my contacts, app store, notes, games, photos, etc? or does it just refer to not being able to make calls?

Answer
To unlock simply slide across like it says. When you put your phone on standby it locks itself. You can have a password for your phone and that password will unlock it. It is very easy to unlock.
