Why can't I download apps on my iPhone?

I have the iPhone 3. Just bought it used. It won't let me download all the nice apps. It tells me iOS. I want to download apps like talk free. I really need a app that's free talk without having to buy credits on the iPhone 3 . Also it has a camera but doesn't have rec. WTF? Like yyy?

May be the apps you are trying to download does not support for iPhone 3....
Check the minimum requirement of the app you are trying to download in your 3G.

Using iPhone3 you cant record video using default camera but you can try Camera Plus free app which can be used to record videos in your 3G and it has got video and photo effects.
Its the best app especially for recording in 3G.

if you are looking at FREE apps, then my suggestion is going to be to download several, evaluate, and choose your favorite. I mean, lets face it, you are not going to get photoshop level editing on your iphone. The apps are basically all presets, i have seen some that allow user adjustments but i havent seen anything that I would actually use in my real work flow as a photographer, or that I would do anything with other than waste some time while I am waiting somewhere.

How to transfer contacts and pictures to new iphone?

I accidentally broke my iPhone, so I'm going to get a new one tomorrow. I know they can transfer my pictures and contacts for me but I have pictures on there that I wouldn't want strangers to see (in a secret folder). So how do I transfer contacts and pictures using my iPhone and computer? I'm pretty sure my iPhone would connect to my computer if I plugged it in btw. Only the screen shattered when I broke it.

You can use Free Mobile Helper to transfer your contacts and pictures from your old iphone to the new one.
Follow the steps as follow
1. Download Free Mobile Helper at http://www.macrobile.com/download/?r=129 and install it.
2. Connect your old iphone with PC through WIFI or USB
3. Add your contacts and photos to Free Mobile Helper. Free Mobile Helper -- Data --Backup/Restore -- Backup Then you can see a window remind you to select the items for backup. You can select the items you want to backup. Then click the "Backup" button.
4. Switch device. Connect your new iphone with Free Mobile Helper. Free Mobile Helper -- Data -- Backup/Restore -- Restore -- Restore from other backup. Then you can select the file you backup the old iphone contacts.
PS: you can backup apps, music so on. As well as the apps datas.

I have an iPhone 4 and I've been thinking about jailbreaking it, but I'm not sure about the advantages and disadvantages. If I decide to, what is the best program to use? Are there risks? Will it delete all my data and can I unjailbreak it? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Cons:
1. Lag. It's usually not even noticed unless you're using an older iPhone model. I notice that stock apps take about 1 second longer to open, but that's about it.
2. Battery life might be slightly decreased.
3. You can't hit that update button in iTunes the second it appears. Well, you can, but you might temporarily lose your untethered jailbreak, so it's best to wait. If you do this anyway and then decide you want to roll back the firmware, you can do that as long as you have your SHSH saved. They are automatically saved after the first one.

Pros (There are a lot more than this. These are just some of the highlights):
1. The freedom to do things outside the scope of an application and the ability to install apps that were not approved for the App Store for various reasons.
2. Fast access to settings toggles.
3. Full access to the file system.

You would jailbreak it with Redsn0w. It will not delete all your data, but you should backup your device before you jailbreak it, just in case something goes wrong. You can only unjailbreak by restoring your device with iTunes.

I'd recommend jailbreaking your device. Mine is jailbroken, and I'm glad I did it.
