How do i delete an app i downloaded from the installer, in my ipod touch?

ok. i jailbreaked my itouch today. i thought i could download any apps from the app store for free. also the songs from itunes. BUT NO!
also, how do i delete an app i have downloaded from the installer??
i really have seen no reason to jailbreak an itouch....

help me please!

LOL, no reason... I have 4 pages of paid apps from the AppStore, all for free. You need Cydia and Installous to do that. If your jailbreak didn't come with Cydia then try a different one because Installer is equated to shit, ad I agree that there is no point in jailbreaking if you're just going to use the Installer app. I've only downloaded one thing from it.

ANYWAY, go into Installer and search for the package you wish to remove. Instead of saying "install", it should say "remove" or something to the effect.

right now i have the version 4.3 and would like to jailbreak it but when i do it will it allow me to get lets angry birds but it cost money will i be able to get it free of charge also when i jailbreak will it erase everything off my ipod like music photos apps etc..

To do the jailbreak, all you need to do is download the ispw file (you current firmware) and the redsn0w rc version for windows OR Mac. Those two downloads are on the sites listed above. Then just read the simple instructions and your good! These are also UNTETHERED JAILBREAKS, so you can turn your ipod off and still be jailbroken! Email me if you have any questions! :)

To answer some questions, this jailbreak won't remove your data, but is highly recommended that you sync your data beforehand just in case.
When you jailbreak, you get Cydia. From Cydia, you can download this (illegal) app called installous 4. It allows you to get any paid app for free. To get installous, open Cydia>manage tab>sources>edit>add> type http://hackulo.us> then, after it says back to cydia(click it), you may click search tab>type installous 4> find it> click install. Now you can go to a certain app page and click on installous 4. Then search for the app you want, click download (this is the tricky part), and choose who you want to download from (mediafire.com if the fastest and most ad-free. If there isn't a mediafire, choose fileape.com (the second fastest, more ads.). Just watch out for the fake ads (they aren't bad, just don't download it(fakes)). Then it will download it (you cant exit when downloading), and when it done, click install. When it it says completed, exit installous and it will be there!(if it says invalid ipa, it means the download failed)

If you had jailbroke your device then there are thousands of the ways.
If there is an app named cydia in your home screen then you have the jailbreak.
For installing the below apps you must goto cydia.

1-You can install ifile then delete the dcim folder then make a new empty folder named dcim again.
2-Or you can ssh into your phone after installing Open SSH. (please search about ssh to iphone on google, i don't know much about this)
or search in google for tweaks that clear the whole camera rool pics.

If you want to install ifile but cant purchase it then you can goto cydia>>manage>>sources>>edit>> add
Then add http://sinfuliphonerepo.com and install ifile cracked.

Q. Kind of like a faded picture, but it's on top of another picture? I hope I haven't confused y'all, but I'm not sure how to explain it. I've just always wanted to make a really cool photo edit with two separate pictures, but it's in the same picture, just faded into each other. Maybe that explained it better?

is it worth jailbreaking the new ipod touch 4g?

i just bought an ipod touch 4g running on version 4.1 and i want to know if it is worth jailbreaking it. i want to know if it is better or if it is not worth it. i've heard that it slows down your ipod even if you remove it. does it ruin your ipod or what. are there and downsides to it. i really want to know before i do something i will regret.
does it interfere with other apple apps like face time or camera
if i take it off can people like stores tell you jailbroke it

Doesn't slow it down a bit. That's just a memory problem. I will be honest and say that the cydia store is very slow but it's well worth it. The only downside to it is that it cancels the warranty (so I've read) and you won't be able to return it if it gets f'd up. So just be careful, don't let your dumb dogs near it to chew it all to hell. Bright side to it is that you can change the icon pictures, the background, wallpaper, delete popups (like the 20% warning that always gets you killed in modern combat 2!!!!! RAWR!!!), you can get all apple store apps for free, 3rd party apps, extensions on your original apps like safari has a flash player, you can have a overall view of your idevice's internal files, do Mac computer things like when you press f12 it pops up the cool dashboard with all of the widgets, you can have infinit dock and springboard, remove icons without deleting them, create folders that keep many apps in it (but has cool icon pictures to pick from), you can stream full movies and tv shows on not so legal sites, download things directly from safari, password protect individual apps (like your personal photos), a permanent wifi connection (only for iPhone and iPad), and a veeeeeery low chance of your iPod crashing on you which you can just restore your iPod again anyway and do it again. :) but you can decide if it's worth it. Those are just SOME of the cool features of a jailbroken idevice.

Edit: Ughhhh unfortunately yes they can. They run special diagnostics specifically for jailbreak because it is frowned upon by apple. They can't arrest you and they can't take your idevice from you or legally make you do anything, there was a case about a person that walked into a apple store and showed his jailbroken iPhone to one of the employees at the store and a big scene happened. But nothing happened to the carrier. There has been many debates about jailbreaking and laws and they have all been turned over in the favor of the jailbreakers because you bought it and you can do what you want to do with it. It is yours so go nuts. :)
