How do I put photos from the computer on my iPhone 3GS?

I have an iPhone 3GS. I had taken some pictures with my iPhone 3G. I transferred the pictures from the 3G to my p c. Now, how do I transfer those to my 3GS? Some of the pictures are great for a background on a phone. I didn't realize I would be changing phones when I took the photos. I sent the 3G phone to my grand daughter because I thought my husband knew how to make the transfer. Please help!

i have an iphone 4 and i wanted to have a couple albums so i synced them on like 2 months ago and i know you cant delete the "camera roll" album but i have photo library, pictures, and wallpapers album and they are taking up space and i dont use them!! i went on itunes clicked on "photos" and it doesnt say i have albums uploaded!! please help
