How to edit privacy settings on Ipod Touch 3rd gen?

I have an Ipod touch 3rd generation I believe, and I want to allow photo editing apps to use my photos, but I am not sure how to do this.
When I go to settings I can't see the Privacy option unfortunately.

Settings>Privacy>Photos
You'll see a list of apps that can or can't access your photos. Just set the ones you want to yes and you should be good to go!
