How do I transfer photos from iPhone to computer?

I want to know how I can transfer my photos onto the computer. I just want to get a way (like connecting the camera to the computer and opening up the file and then being able to get them all and then put them into a folder into the computer). I have an oldish computer and there are a few options for me to open up my photos. I put it on word document but when I try getting the photos out, it doesn't.
Can someone please tell me a way to get my photos EASILY and save them? I need to get those photos out of my phone and give it to my group. I just want to have photos in a folder rather than them in a word/ publisher document.

PS: Does the bluetooth on the iPhone work to get data from other cells? I know that it doesn't but my friend 'browsed' for other phones that had their bluetooth on and she got me. My bluetooth kept searching for 15 minutes and nothing worked!
