I use 4S, i already transfer all photos to iPhoto on my mac. when i'm sync it to my other iphone, the photos were trasnferred to Photo Library. is there any way to transfer it back to my camera roll.?

Get that one app called USB Disk on the app store on your iPhone. Then go on itunes and plug your iPhone in and go to the Apps tab and choose the USB app you just got. At this point you should be able to add all the pictures you want from your computer onto that app, which you can then save them to your camera roll when you go to them on the app on your phone. Hope this helps, it's one of the more efficient ways that I know of.

Just got an iphone 5, upgraded from htc evo 4g. (Android users, please don't tell me I made a mistake lol, I am VERY happy with my phone, after all I can sync with my ipad and macbook)

So I was wondering if there is a good photo editing app that offers good editing but easy to use. I like several apps, but I am still looking that one that can do all instead of going back and forth, you know?

Also looking for music apps where I can listen to songs, maybe with lyrics. If it offers to download songs for free, that would be awesome!

Any other cool apps, I should know about?? Any tips for iphone 5 would be great! This is my first iphone so I am very new to it but I am loving it already!

iPad has many app that let you do photos editing really well. You can import raw images from SLR directly to iPad through camera connection kit. iPad can handle ultra high definition photographs that are impossible for PC with low pixel per inch.

Adobe Photoshop and iPhoto are the best photo editing apps but there are many others if you want to add special effect.

If you can use combination of VFXstudio,iPhoto and Photoshop smartly ,Semi pro level of photo editing can be performed really quickly. I cannot confirm all the bad things that people say about Kindle Fire on the web as I myself got Nook Tablet instead but there's a lot of angry Fire first-adopters out there that are posting about returning their Kindles as soon as they can get them packed. What's confirmed at this time is that many Kindle Fire units have faulty Wi-Fi and people have a lot of issues connecting to internet according to many user reviews. I believe it's called a "Lomo" effect. But why would you want an effect that makes it look like you have light leaks in your camera?

I want to have like a black frame around my picture (like 30% of opacity) but I want the middle to be black-free and in an oval shape. I am not sure if you know what I mean.
What I did is took the transparent layer, filled it with 30% of opacity of black paint. Took brush with smooth edges and erased the middle. But it's not neat, perfect or equal. How can I do it? I have Gimp and Photoshop

I recommend using a computer HDR program like Photomatix. It merges better and will allow you to process them 10x better than an iPhone app. Thats just me though. You can always sync your photos to your computer from your phone

EDIT: Oh I'm sorry. If you have an iPad 2 or the 3rd one recently came out. I guess the program is good then. I'll link you some topics about that. I have an iPad 2 as well and sometimes I take photos with my DSLR Nikon and I purchased from Apple a SD card transfer. What it is its basically a little slot where you can put your SD/memory card inside the slot that goes where you charger your iPad. You know on the bottom of the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch etc. It will sync your camera photos onto iPhoto on your iPad. You can use any camera too! I recommend using a camera instead of iPad camera, then you upload to your iPhoto and have your HDR program do the work! :) Here's some links

I was thinking about waiting until july 2011 (instead of January 2011 for the 4th gen) to get the 5th generation of iphone but i don't know if that would be good because sometimes when it first comes out there is a lot of problems.
I meant they already have had 4th generation out for AT&T which is coming out in january. Then in July theyre coming out with the 5th generation. I was leaning more toward the 4th generation seeing it was out for longer to sort out problems.. but i don't know.
There was a thing in the newspaper saying there was going to be a verizon iphone in 2011 and it says that apple's contract is up with at&t so they are going to give it verizon too.

I've never heard of Verizon, but I do have an iPhone 4 on O2...

Pros;
- It's one of the best phones I've ever owned.
- The apps are great - Facebook, Train Times, Bus Times, Games, YouTube...
- The video camera is really good for a phone - you can record in HD.
- Handy to have - although it's smaller than one, it's like a mini computer.
- HDR photography - No under or over exposed photos.
- On the Maps app, you can ask it to show you were you are.
- GPS tags on the photos - you can see the location where you took the photos.
- Email on the go.
- Fast internet browser.
- Stunning graphics - it's probably impossible to find a pixel anywhere on the display.

Cons;
- The signal does drop by about 2 or 3 bars depending on where you are. Although it does this, I've never experienced a drop call.
- It's expensive.
- Some apps make the phone look not as good because the developers haven't updated them for the iPhone 4 meaning they looked pixelated due to the iPhone's great display.

It is just like the iPod touch, although it's slightly bigger in width and has a phone/text messaging service.

Apparently the new 5th generation iPhone is to come out earlier because of the signal issue - if it did, apparently it'd be in January so it may be best to wait until then.

I did have an iPhone 3G, and got an Android phone. I disliked the Android and went straight back to the iPhone 3G. I then sold them both and got an iPhone 4. I haven't regretted it. It's a great phone, and addictive. Many people I know have found it hard to get rid of an iPhone simply, because it does so much!

I'd give the iPhone 4 an 8/10 because although it does drop a few bars, it is a great phone.

EDIT: I read the first persons' comment. You do not need a 'rubber' case for the phone. It does help with the signal, but you can still easily call people without any kind of case. I've had my iPhone for around 2 months nearly. I haven't got a case on it. Although it does drop around 2/3 bars when I hold it, it does not drop calls and it works well.

If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. There are also free tools to add text blurbs, to make collages, to put your photo into other images. There are a number of tools that allow you to put the image of a face into other photos for some fun creations.

So I own a mac and I really hate it so I'm gonna buy a PC. First of all, I don't wanna buy a PC pre-made, I wanna choose the parts. I need to know which specs (Processor, graphics card, motherboard, etc...) I am willing to spend $2000-$3000.

For that amount of money, you can get a sick PC.

First of all, take your time in selecting what you have to buy, you dont want to end up with parts that wont fit together.

Processor:
These days, the Core i7 is at the top of the hill. it comes in a few flavours, including the Core i7 920 (running at 2.66GHz, for about 300 buckz) the core i7 running at 2.93GHz (which ups the price to around 500..) the core i7 965 and 975 extreme which run at 3.06 and 3.33 GHz respectively (youll lay down about 1000 bucks for one of those). The core i7 processors overclock easily, so get a Core i7 920 and overclock it to 3.0 GHz, and you save yourself 600 bucks ;) ) This processor sticks on to a socket 1366 motherboard. The core i9 processor is on our doorstep though ,rumored to launch Q1 2010. It features a six core processor (12 core with mullti-threading) as opposed to the quad core (8 core with multitherading). they might be very pricy though..

Processor cooler:
No doubt about it, get a Prolimatech Mega Shadow or Prolimatech Megahalems (they do not differ from design, the mega shadow looks better ;) ). This is the best cooler you can get today, the higher you overclock the btter it works. It does not come with a fan, so get 2 Noctua 120mm fans, great company (noctua). The cooler is very large, so watch out if the motherboard is large enough (if its not the RAM might be in the way and trust me, that sucks :| )

Motherboard:

Loads of choice here, im not going to choose for you. But, look for one that at least has socket 1366, and two PCI-Express slots (multiple graphics cards). Depending on your peripherals, check the USB entrances, eSata, firewire, ethernet ports if they fit your need, this takes some time! Make sure it supports DDR3 RAM.

Graphics card:

The Radeon HD5870 is the best graphics card you can have. Even though the nVidia GTX295 out performs it sometimes, the GTX295 does not have DirectX 11 support, so you will want to get one of those HD cards.
Now heres the thing, youll be wanting two of those babies in crossfire! Almost double perfomance in games and HD playback, each can handle 3 monitors (or 6? cant remember) at a resltuion of 2560 x 1600. These things are beasts.

Hard drive/SSD:

The SSD (solid state drive) market is very expensive, but they offer extreme perfomance for extreme computing. This is also a prefernce based thing, you might want a lot of space, or just a bit. But SSD's are blazingly fast. If you just want some space to store a few hundred pics or movies, just get a 1 TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 drive, they are great. SSD's should be used for the operation system and some games and apps that you want to run fast.

Case:

The case is a big deal in computing. If you want very high arolow, the Cooler Master HAF 932 is the way to go, it features three 230mm fans and room to replace those fans with nine 120mm fans, and space for radiators if going water cooling. But, taste is different, i persoanlly find the case very rugged and military, which appeals to me, but other might now. The corsair 800d (or b.. dont know), is a very sleek black polished steel case which is just extremely functional. They are expesnive (around 250 bucks).

RAM:

You want at least 6 gigabytes of DDR3 RAM, running at at least 1333MHz. Your motherboard must support DDR3 though! (Some AMD based motherboard dont support it, however almost all Socket 1366 motherboard do).
A real treat is 12 gigs of DDR3 RAM. why 6 and 12 and not 8? Because its DDR3 it is triple channel RAM. For the best performance, you want to work with multiples of 3. 12 gigs is great for photoshop and large apps that include photo or movie editing.

EDIT: Power supply!
You want at least 900W of power availabilty, get a Corsair TX950 watt powersupply (modular) or a TX1000W power supply (modular) Your system will almost never use that amount of power, but its very good to have the power available if for example you move to very power consuming grtaphics cards or overclock your RAM, Processort and GPU very highly.

The rest of the parts your going to have to decide yourself! PC building for this budget requres very neat and good planning, check everything before you go on to the checkout ;)

How do I make an entire picture visible on facebook? without having to click on it?

I'm trying to post a photo to my timeline, but whenever I do, the image is too big to see all of it without clicking on it. It only shows half the picture and it appears huge on the newsfeed instead of a I already resized it through one of my photo apps but when I post, it still looks the same. Frustrating! Btw I'm trying to do this on my iPhone. It seems there should be a way to do this.

To edit the privacy settings for photo albums you've posted:

1.Go to your profile (timeline) and click on the Photos section

2.Click See All

3.Use the audience selector tool under each album to control who can see your photos

FIRST BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR IPHONE:


Connect your iPhone to your computer.
When iTunes launches, click "sync" and wait for the process to finish.
You have just backed up your iPhone.


Restore the iPhone (or iPod Touch) This will allow the phone to be completely reset to its factory settings and start a new

a) In iTunes you will see a screen similar to the one below. You must click restore on the screen to continue:


b) You may be prompted to download the iPhone software. You must download it if you dont already have it on your computer. It can take some time depending on your internet connection, the files are over 200 megabytes in size. This takes some users a few minutes, and some a few hours depending on your internet connection speed.

c) When finished downloading, the rest of the process is automated. iTunes will now automatically restore the iPhone. The process will take 10-20 minutes.
You will see the apple logo with a progress bar on your iPhone during this time.

d) after the process is complete, as long as you have not removed your SIM card, and the iPhone has remained connected to iTunes, and your computer is connected to the internet, you will see a screen telling you that you iPhone is activated:



IMPORTANT:
If you are asked to restore your phone from a backup or set up as new, disregard these messages for now and continue on with the rest of this walkthrough.

Download Blackra1n from www.blackra1n.com
Be sure to click the windows logo if you are using windows, or the Mac logo if you use Mac.


When prompted be sure to save the file somewhere you can remember. You will need to run it in just a few minutes.

Be sure that you have your iPhone or iPod Touch connected to your computer. Close any iTunes related windows.

When the file has saved (should only take a few seconds as it is a small file) you must run it.



Double click the file and it will run:

Click the "make it rain button"
Next you may see the "found new hardware" balloon in windows. That is ok.
The iPhone is entering recovery mode and this is normal.
Your iPhone display will turn black, and then off for a moment.

Next you will see a picture of Geohot on your iPhone or iPod Touch


Blackra1n will now run and your iPhone will reboot:





The next screen you see after your iPhone reboots looks like this:

Final Step
After the iPhone or iPod Touch reboots, you will see a new icon on the screen called blackra1n
*VERY IMPORTANT:
Make sure you are connected to the internet via either WIFI or 3g. You can do this on EDGE but it will take a very long time. It is preferential to do this on WIFI


Click the blackra1n icon and you are brought to the following screen:


This screen is where you will select what download manager you want to install. Click Cydia and Rock if you want the most variety. I do not recommend Icy as some users have problems using Icy and some jailbreak applications an tweaks
Click INSTALL on the upper right hand of the blackra1n app.
Blackra1n will begin to download your chosen apps:



After it has finished downloading, the iPhone will do a soft reboot (this is called a re-spring) and you will see the selected manager on your home screen:




Next you can tap the blackra1n icon again, and then uninstall the blackra1n app to remove the logo:





















RESTORE YOUR BACK UP IN ITUNES


Disconnect your iPhone and close iTunes.
Reconnect your iPhone via the USB cable and open iTunes if it does not automatically open.

Restoring From Your Last Backup. Assuming that you are using the same computer you usually connect your iPhone to, and you backed up in the beginning of this walkthrough you can now restore to your latest iPhone backup. iTunes backs your phone up when you connect it to your computer. ***EDIT: Old Polaroid instant cameras used to produce photographs with those borders. But, very, very few people still use actual Polaroid cameras. Usually, if you see a recent photo like that, it has been taken on a modern digital camera and the person has used Photoshop, or some sort of app or filter to simulate the look of photos taken on an old Polaroid camera and add that Polaroid border. Back in the day, though, those types of photos used to be referred to as simply "Polaroids." If you said something like "I've got some Polaroids of that person." The person you were speaking to knew you meant that you had those types of photos.

I'm sure there are most likely a number of apps you that will simulate those sorts of photos, but I don't know of any off hand, sorry. I'm sure if you search for some using "Polaroid" as a search term, you'll probably be able to find one, though. I've seen quite a number of those types of photos around lately, and I don't think everyone is doing them by hand in photoshop. There must be apps available.

Is the Hipstamatic app for iPhone worth $2?

I think it is. Hipstamatic creates great looking retro photo effects that so far no other photo apps have been able to match. The color, noise, light, vignette and border effects all look great. For $2, the app comes with enough standard gear to be useful -- "films" and "lens" filters. The square pics are perfect for saving to Instagram, if you choose.

Additional film and lens paks are released regularly for anywhere from free to $2. Beware -- they can be addicting! I've purchased them all. Many of them are pretty nice. Some of them you'll never use. The paks can turn into a regular monthly addition $1-$2 cost for the app. Often they're worth it.

Disclosure: I write an iPhone photo blog, lifeinlofi.com. I often recommend Hipstamatic on my blog as both a great starter photo app and just a good app to have. Other than having met the developers, I have no other connection with the company. I just really like Hipstamatic.

Honestly, I have tried Picnik, and it seems pretty good. I used Fotoflexer once, and it seems decent. I download GIMP , but sadly didn't work on my computer. Apparently it's like Photoshop for free.

I have tried a few, Adobe Photoshop Express ,as well as Colorize seem pretty good. Adobe Photoshop Express is free, and edits stuff such as Saturation, Exposure, Contrast, and has helpful stuff. Colorize basically helps by changing the colors on photos.It can be pretty good, if you use it right, but sometimes it does look fake.

One of the best ways to use up that gift card would be to get a few apps that can actually save you money. Then it will end up paying for itself.

pic2shop is an excellent one that lets you use your phone's camera to take a picture of the barcode of any product. The app then lets you know the best places to buy the item online.

Also, Amazon Remembers is a very interesting one that allows you to take a photo of any product and a human at Amazon will hunt the product down online and let you know what it is. It's fun to try and challenge them by taking a pic of a stranger's shoes or other random objects.

Photoshop is a quite advanced graphics program, and as such it requires a machine suitable for its power.

Small, portable, embedded machines like the iPod or iPhone just don't carry all that processing power.
