How many pictures, songs, and apps does a iPhone 4s hold?

Camille

I am on the market for an iPhone 4s and I was curious as to how much of the previously stated items it would hold. (16gb, 32gb, & 64gb). Knowing the amount of songs, pictures, and apps it can hold will influence my decision greatly.

-Any additional information you know about the phone will be helpful.
-If you know the amount of video/movie time it can hold would help too.

THANK YOU!
10 POINTS TO THE MOST INFORMATIVE ANSWER!

Answer
There is no accurate measure. It really depends on what you plan to put in your iPhone.

Songs on average are 5 mb. Photos are on average 2 - 3 mb. Finally apps ranges depending on the type of app. Gaming apps tend to be closer to 100mb but higher graphic games such as Infinity Blade (around 800mb), Role playing games (700 - 1 Gb), Racing games (Asphalt series - around 800 mb). Other apps tend to be less than 100mb.

16gb can fit around 2,800 songs or 4,500 photos, and a lot of small apps.
Judging by the question 16gb would be too small. Take note that a 16gb iPhone 4S does not actually have 16gb of memory for you to use. It is much closer to 14GB.

32GB can fit double of what 16Gb can fit basically.
This is the model I recommend for you if and only if it is for apps, songs, and pictures. If you want videos, this model might be pushing it because videos take up too much space and you would really be limited on your songs photos and apps.

64GB is the recommended size for any user that likes to put movies/cartoons/tv shows on their iPhones to watch on the go. Since an episode can range anywhere from 200mb to over 1gb depending on quality, 64gb is the perfect size to hold and still have enough space for games, songs, and photos.

What site is best to find mobile to mobile free easter ecards ?

tracy ferr

Answer
The best one I have found is Jeego. It has a load of free animated ecards on its website plus a number of apps that you can download to your phone. You can post them to Facebook, Twitter and email and MMS on some phones. It's worth a look - the quality looks much better than many others I have seen. It looks like these guys have deals with Disney and Cartoon Network and others as there is a lot of quality content in there. You can also upload photos and make your own. Works on BlackBerry, iPhone, Windows Mobile etc.

Ever since I upgraded my iphone, it downloads every single photo every time I download-that's over 500! Help!?

Gentle Spi

I had to upgrade my G3 iphone in order to use internet tethering. Ever since the upgrade, whenever I download photos, it downloads every single photo in the phone (500+) to my computer over and over each and everytime. I've found that I no longer am able to utilize the camera feature in my
phone because I don't want to have to take the time to sort through and delete over 500 photos just to
get the 8 new photos I've taken. Before the upgrade, it worked fine and only downloaded the newly taken photos that had not been previously downloaded. I've been on apple's iphone website several times and have found no way to contact them, plus have gone physically to an apple store and after waiting almost an hour for help, they just loaded a "settings" app on my phone and said it would answer my questions, it doesn't. They just wanted to get me out of the store since I wasn't buying anything and needed help.

Does anyone know how I can change it back to the way it was before without losing the tethering capabilities?

Answer
Connect your iPhone to your Mac and use the Image Capture to import photos from your iPhone.
In Image Capture, your iPhone will get detected as an photo device, and you can import selected photos or select all photos to import to your Mac.
If you are using Windows PC, then use the Windows Live Gallery software to download your photos to your PC system.
I generally take photos using Camera Plus Pro app and it has in-built feature to transfer photos to my laptop using Wifi or FTP transfer. So much faster.

There are tons of great photo apps for the iPhone and iPad.

Photo Editor - Snapseed is a comprehensive photo app that you'll wind up using every day. Photoshop mobile is another editor to consider. And Befunky is great too with the addition of more fun editing features.

Swap Photo Parts - With Juxtaposer you can take one part from one photograph and add that part into a second photo.

Panoramic Photos - Pano features the ability to take 360-degree panoramas using up to sixteen photos with a semi-transparent guide helps you line up each shot perfectly. With Pano's alignment tools, blending, and colour-correction algorithms provide you can really get seamless images in just seconds - I have been amazed.

Text on Photos - Photophrase blends beautiful typography with pictures to create unique images you can share. You can use Photophrase for photo captioning, photo sharing, and just plain photo fun.

Funny Faces - Faceship offers tons of face-changing effects! Besides the TinyFace, effects include a bubbleface, square head, nerd glasses (with enlarged eyeballs!), catface, the best moustache ever, some crazy mirror effects, horrible zits, sad face and happy faces, fat neck, and a bunch more. Another option is PhotoGoo which lets you turn your photos to Goo! Create funny facial expressions from your friends faces.

Un-crop - If you've ever taken a hasty photo on your phone and didn't leave enough room on the outside, AntiCrop is the app can uncrop those photos by filling in the edges with just a few swipes.

iphone or Driod? which is best?

Thisguy

pros and cons? which is best? i cant decide so i leave it to the loyal friends of yahoooooooo..........

Answer
Droid is worse than even a simple phone. It cant have any quality 3D games or app COZ its OS doesnt allow users to store app on memory card. Apps can be stored only on internal memory which is just 512 MB out of which only 256 MB is allotted for Apps.

iPhone game Asphalt 5 is alone takes 240 MB you can imagine how many apps Droid can have.

Droid's camera is way too slow. Mobile cameras are used to take quick pictures but Droid takes forever to focus on subject.

Verizon doesnt allow users to talk and browse the internet simultaneously over 3G network.

Touch screen of Droid sucks to the limit however you can only realize, if you have used iPhone. The display has yellow tint. Bright while looks off white.

Android has 10,000 apps but none of them has any quality. iTunes App store has apps that make iphone a super computer on the go.

iPhone has many apps that let you do amazing video editing and photo mixing BUT Droid has lame widgets and apps that are outdated even for our grandfathers.

iPhone can download video from many sites like dailymotion,veoh,metacafe,iphonemoviez.net, Droid cant.

iPhone can play and convert the video format simultaneously so you don't have to wait till video is converted and you don't need to get any video converter software. Video converter softwares are for technically backward people and devices like Droid users and Droid.

I am giving you a link to the video. This video is entirely done on iPhone 3G S. First video is downloaded directly by iPhone, then added text, voiceover is done and then uploaded.

Should I get the Blackberry storm?

Tyler P

I am looking for a phone with great multimedia, video playback, ease of use and call quality. also, i don't want to get an iphone :P

Answer
If you dont want iphone then get G1 or Blackberry Bold.

Storm has software glitches that is proven now. They are trying to fix it but I think it wont be ever fixed.

There is a serious lag in Storm operating system. It keeps on freezing all the time. Clickable screen eats up the RAM and slow down the processor speed if you are doing something on it and you get a call 25% of time it will freeze up.

Storm is capable of displaying only 56,000 colors which is subpar. The colors look washed out if you are watching high resolution photos. By the way iPhone displays 200,000 colors no wonder it has the most vibrant display mankind has ever witnessed.

Storm doesnt have VoIP which is becoming immensely popular. I control music of my entire house from iPhone but Storm cant do it coz it doesnt have Wi-Fi and you cannot access so many thing unless you have a Wi-Fi. Cellular network is not the substitute for WI-Fi.

iPhone has live photo streaming and 3D
animation movie maker and many photo editing tools. Storm has only stale and rotten apps that were good in my gradfather's time.

All the reviews are saying Storm is a flop show by Blackberry.

Nothing can come close to iPhone but G1 is a decent phone and it has plenty of potential coz Android market has some great planing and it want to develop on the lines of iTunes.

And Bold has been one of the most successful phones so nothing much to say about it.

Is there a web where you describe or email an image of the jewlery youre looking for and they help find it?

Engineerin

Answer
Yes. The technology is known as image recognition software, and there are apps for the iPhone or android devices that use this technology.

Google goggles is the most popular. Within the app, you take a photo, and scan it through google. Google then searches the web for similar images, and links you to what you are looking for.

As far as emailing an image, I do not know of any programs like that, I simply say, it is 2013, and if you do not have a smartphone or tablet, you should consider getting one, there is no limit to what you can do with these devices, why limit yourself by not having one?

Android gingerbread/icecream vs ios5 vs windows 7.5 mango vs symbian belle?

RKO RULZ

1.pros and cons of above os,5 stars to best answer.also
2.do you think nokia can retain lost glory with windows 7.5 and symbian belle/cindy.

Answer
Can't comment on Android, don't follow closely enough but it looks like Gingerbread is mostly stability improvements and poor face recognition.

iOS 5: Extremely stable and access to loads of Apps on the App Store. iOS 5 also has Siri (virtual assistant/voice control) and other features like built in Photo and Video editing, free messaging, free video calling (FaceTime. Not sure if others have a built in equivalent). When you look any OS really, also look at hardware. iOS 5 and iPhone are tightly integrated and controlled to work perfectly, end-to-end.

Windows Phone 7.5: This is really just a catch up OS, Microsoft fell behind in mobile OS, now they catch up. And pretty well I admit. I still prefer iOS 5, but Mango has a nice UI and great set of features.

Symbian: To me symbian is pretty much gone, only used on basic phones. Nokia is moving to Windows Phone for their future products. Symbian fell too far behind, and don't really look like they want to. Incredibly stable, but lacks so many features that the competition offers. I hope Nokia doesn't come back, they didn't really release good products.

Most of it depends on personal preference, the look and feel and so on.

Good photo editing apps?

Alexandra

I need some good editing apps , ones with good filters? Thanks !

Answer
Hello friend, there are several good photo editing apps. some of them are listed below.

1. Adobe Photoshop Express
Adobe Photoshop is a world renowned photo editing application for desktop computers and Mac, however for a number of years, the company have also had a mobile version to their software available to download for free on iPhone and iPad.

2. Instagram
Instagram is owned by Facebook and in recent times it has grown to over 90 million users. The Instagram app available to download for all iOS devices is not so much a photo editing app but more of a photo filter app and social network combined, as is the Instagram service.

3. Snapseed
Snapseed is perhaps the best photo editing app on this list. It is a very clever app that will automatically adjust your photo to create the very best final image. It features pinch to zoom effects and framing, and also allows you to create light leaks, as well as change saturation and brightness.

4. Aviary
Aviary is one of those apps that when downloaded you wonder how you ever got by without it. Aviary is a wonderful photo filter and editing app that merges the best of Photoshop Express and Snapseed.

5. BeFunky
Last on our list of the best photo editing apps is BeFunky, a neat application for iOS devices that has rave reviews on iTunes. Its appeal comes from its combination of Instagram and Flickr features, allowing users to easily share their photographs and apply filters.

Whats your favorite photo editing app or music app? Other apps for iphone 5?

Ryan

Just got an iphone 5, upgraded from htc evo 4g. (Android users, please don't tell me I made a mistake lol, I am VERY happy with my phone, after all I can sync with my ipad and macbook)

So I was wondering if there is a good photo editing app that offers good editing but easy to use. I like several apps, but I am still looking that one that can do all instead of going back and forth, you know?

Also looking for music apps where I can listen to songs, maybe with lyrics. If it offers to download songs for free, that would be awesome!

Any other cool apps, I should know about?? Any tips for iphone 5 would be great! This is my first iphone so I am very new to it but I am loving it already!

Where can I find reviews and opinions online for Wacom Bamboo Pen

Answer
Wacom® today announces Bamboo⢠second generation â the first interactive tablet that merges multi-touch functionality with pen tablet technology in a single device. Based on current consumer trends and the introduction of popular touch devices such as the Apple iPhone, Bamboo provides a simple and spontaneous way of using your computer. Operating Bamboo is as easy as a touch (finger-based input), or a stroke of our digital pen. The new family is comprised of four different products â Bamboo, Bamboo Fun, Bamboo Pen and Bamboo Touch.
Who will Bamboo?
Bamboo is ideal for those of you who use computers as part of your digital lifestyle to communicate, share and create content. It enables anyone to be creative. Bamboo is the perfect tool for self-expression and personalisation when producing everyday documents, presentations and blogs, or when communicating with friends, colleagues and family through social networking tools such as Facebook and Twitter.
Make Every Gesture Count
Combining pen and touch technology into one stylish device delivers the best of both worlds, making it even easier, quicker and more fun to use a computer. With Bamboo second generation, a simple finger tap on the digital pad will allow you to select an icon, open a menu or start an application. Plus, a variety of intuitive two-finger gestures enables you to simply rotate an image or document, flip through a digital photo album or presentation, scroll through a blog or an excel sheet and zoom in and out of a photo or map.
The Power of the Pen
The advanced pen technology built into Bamboo means that the pen is still an important part of the Bamboo experience. With a few simple strokes of the pen, you can add a doodle, signature or comment to any digital document, including your blog. Your online space will become more personal and more you. The process is similar to using traditional pen and paper and provides pinpoint accuracy, helping you to easily draw natural strokes, retouch digital images, and free your creative side. Bamboo is the ideal tool to activate pen-based functions of current operating systems and to use with creative software that supports pressure sensitivity.
Bamboo is smart, so it knows when you are using touch and when you are using the pen. If your finger is in contact with the tablet surface, touch works. If your pen tip is brought near the surface, touch is automatically turned off and pen input works instead. Simple and smart at the same time.
Fun and Useful Apps
The Bamboo experience is enhanced through Bamboo Dock and Bamboo Minis, an ever-increasing series of small but useful applications that enable you to do anything from digital doodling and sketching, to adding handwritten notes to a map or playing addictive little games. Registered users of Bamboo products will be able to download the Dock and Minis from the Wacom Asia Pacific website.
Bamboo second generation is ultra slim (8.5 mm thick), optimised for both right and left-handed use and provides an integrated pen holder for convenient storage of the new and lightweight digital pen. In addition, there are four customisable shortcut keys for immediate access to your favorite functions. ...............

If I buy the new iphone, will I loose all of my apps?

chauch7385

I currently have the original iPhone and want to upgrade to the iPhone 4. I have a ton of apps and contacts that I don't want to loose. Is there a way of backing them up on my computer first so that I can just put them on my new phone. Also, how can I wipe it clean so that I can trade it in without all of my information left on there.
Okay so I backed up my iphone on itunes. I then went to Radio Shack and traded in my old one. When I got home with the new one and plugged it in for the first time, I choose the option to restore from a backup. Nothing happened. It appears that I lost everything! Is there another way to retrieve them?

what is a toy camera?

Kevin7

Answer
Toy cameras are simple, inexpensive film box cameras made almost entirely out of plastic, often including the lens. The term is misleading, since they are not merely 'toys' but are in fact capable of taking photographs. Many were made to be given away as novelties or prizes. The Diana, an inexpensive 1960s 4x4cm novelty box camera from Hong Kong, is typically the camera most associated with the term 'toy camera'. Other cameras, such as the LOMO LC-A, Lubitel, and Holga, while originally intended as consumer, mass-market cameras, have also become identified with the term.

Many professional photographers have utilized toy cameras and the often strange optical effects of their inexpensive lenses to take award-winning photographs. Toy camera photography has been widely exhibited at many popular art shows, such as the annual Krappy Kamera show at the Soho Photo Gallery in the TriBeCa neighborhood of New York City. Various publications such as Popular Photography magazine have extolled the virtues of the Diana camera in its own right as an "art" producing image maker. Several books have also featured the work of toy cameras, such as The Friends of Photography's "The Diana Show", "Iowa" by Nancy Rexroth, and "Angels at the Arno" by Eric Lindbloom.

September 6, 2010
The 3D hype is now entering the toy market as well. Takara Tomy announced [JP, PDF] the so-called 3D Shot Cam today, a simple photo camera with two lenses. This âtoy version of Fujifilmâs FinePix REAL 3D W3â is aimed at children aged 12 and older who have to use a special viewer to view images shot with the camera in 3D. For that, the pictures have to printed out first (showing two shots side by side).

The 3D Shot Cam features a 0.3MP sensor and an SD card slot (8GB max.). Itâs sized at 55Ã142Ã30mm, weighs 100g and comes with two 3D viewers.

The camera will hit Japanese stores sometime next spring with a $70 price tag. Takara Tomy expects to sell 50,000 units per year in Japan, without saying anything about international distribution plans.
