Can you recommend some good apps for the Samsung Moment?

earth_akat

I am looking for some good apps for it. Here are a few things I want....
1) A free thing where i can change my onscreen keyboard
2) A good free app for wallpapers and backgrounds.
3) any other free app that is really good.
I also heard that there are folders that can be put on the screen to hold more shortcuts on the main screen. if possible how do i do this?

Answer
There's an app to change the keyboard called Better Keyboard but it's a paid app. If you can't find what you want on the Market for some reason you can search for that app on 4shared.com

Some cool apps you should also download are....
1. ChompSMS (a messaging app like the iPhone. Make it your default)
2. SMS PopUp (more custom options for Text messages such as individual notification sounds and vibration lenghts)
3. Spare Parts (makes your phone individual windows open faster)
4. Tone Picker (selct music from your SD card as ringtones or notification sounds)
5. Google Voice (you have to have a GV number already in order to make this app work)
6. Mabilo Ringtones (download ringtones)
7. Ringdroid (edit music tracks and make them ringtones)
8. aContacts (make this your default Contacts app)
9. Assistant (handle all your bills from this app)
10. ASTRO (file explorer, you need this!)
11. Backgrounds (name says it all)
12. Math Alarm Clock (THIS WILL WAKE YOU UP. IT JUST WONT STOP RINGING UNLESS U DO THE MATH)
13. Video Safe (hide your videos in this app with a password)
14. Photo Safe or Photo Vault (hide your pics with a password)
15. ColorNote (notes wit color)
16. Documents to Go (WORD office type apps)
17. Bump (like bluetooth but much coooler)
18. Advanced Task Killer Free (kill apps you dont want open and ignore ones you never want to see open)
19. Better Cut (you can change the icon of an app using this app, download icon packs for free)

Android gingerbread/icecream vs ios5 vs windows 7.5 mango vs symbian belle?

RKO RULZ

1.pros and cons of above os,5 stars to best answer.also
2.do you think nokia can retain lost glory with windows 7.5 and symbian belle/cindy.

Answer
Can't comment on Android, don't follow closely enough but it looks like Gingerbread is mostly stability improvements and poor face recognition.

iOS 5: Extremely stable and access to loads of Apps on the App Store. iOS 5 also has Siri (virtual assistant/voice control) and other features like built in Photo and Video editing, free messaging, free video calling (FaceTime. Not sure if others have a built in equivalent). When you look any OS really, also look at hardware. iOS 5 and iPhone are tightly integrated and controlled to work perfectly, end-to-end.

Windows Phone 7.5: This is really just a catch up OS, Microsoft fell behind in mobile OS, now they catch up. And pretty well I admit. I still prefer iOS 5, but Mango has a nice UI and great set of features.

Symbian: To me symbian is pretty much gone, only used on basic phones. Nokia is moving to Windows Phone for their future products. Symbian fell too far behind, and don't really look like they want to. Incredibly stable, but lacks so many features that the competition offers. I hope Nokia doesn't come back, they didn't really release good products.

Most of it depends on personal preference, the look and feel and so on.
