Tanx
I was downloading some torrents, After some time, the downloads failed due to the error SD card not available. The SD card was unmounted itself, I mounted it again but all the apps in the sd card were unavailable, I restarted the phone and the sd card was blank and everything in it including music, apps, photos and stuff wiped off. How the hell did it happen?
Answer
well first off my guess is that it would have depended on the apps that you downloaded . if you downloaded a bunch of crappy games to your phone well then dig a grave for your smartphone and write '' R.I.P my smartphone ''. and for you music, i think that it would depend on the app that you used to download all your songs. but if you used the following apps that are safe : sound hound, shazam, music hub,and iTunes ( if you own a iphone that is ) .
photos: well if you used the main camera app then its fine . but if you downloaded a app that is an attachment to your camera then it can do some bugs to you phone. and if you downloaded a separate app that takes pictures then you are more than screwed . ( instagram doesn't count )
now here are my tips on how to keep your smartphone on top shape .
1. you have to restart your smartphone ever 3 days . this will eliminate the current apps that are running on your phone and it will improve you smartphone from a shit hole .
2.keep a watch on the apps that your using . if there is an app that your not using that much then delete it . its just a waist of space .
3. all ways ALL WAY keep a good amount of free space on your phone. between 1gb and 500 mb ( my suggestion) . and yes phones do have ram as well. and if you have a lower memory on your SD card then do it like this . keep the 80% used up and the 20% free space .
3. good protection is a good way to clean you phone . this is what i highly recommend you : avast anti virus the one that in using . lookout i highly recommend to you . it is good but if you like paying a yearly feed ( which is 20 dollars per year , as i remember it .and AVG mobile is not so bad as well .
and finally the 4th: if you what safe apps then download the ones that are editors chose . those are the ones that are safe .and only download apps that are developed by big companies. they are safe as well . this is all i got . now do what as i say and you will have no trouble on your SD card and your smart phone .

Whats the difference between a jailbroken ipod touch and an unjailbroken ipod touch and also if i jail break it can i still do the normal things that an unjailbroken ipod touch does?
Answer
An unjailbroken device will be a device that is how it came in the package. Here is some information about an unjailbroken device. The iPod Touch (trademarked and marketed as iPod touch) is a portable media player, personal digital assistant, and Wi-Fi mobile platform designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The product was launched on September 5, 2007 at an event called The Beat Goes On.[4] The iPod Touch adds the multi-touch graphical user interface to the iPod line and is available with 8, 16, or 32 GB of flash memory. It includes Apple's Safari web browser and is the first iPod with wireless access to the iTunes Store. It also has access to Apple's App Store. The second generation iPod Touch, featuring external volume controls, a built-in speaker, a contoured back, built-in Nike+, and Bluetooth support, was unveiled on September 9, 2008 at the Let's Rock keynote presentation. The iPod Touch has a slim rectangular shape with rounded edges, with a glass touchscreen display covering most of the top surface and a physical home button off the touchscreen. The display functions similarly to the multi-touch trackpad as implemented in Apple's current line of laptop computers. The touch and gesture features of the iPod Touch are based on technology originally developed by FingerWorks.[5]
The home screen has a list of icons for the available applications. All iPod Touch models include such applications as Music, Videos, and Photos (collectively duplicating the standard functions of the iPod Classic), iTunes (providing access to the Wi-Fi Music Store), Safari, YouTube, Calendar, Contacts, Clock, Calculator, and Settings. Later models added Mail (accessing POP/IMAP/SMTP e-mail), Maps, Stocks, Notes, and Weather, which could also be added to the earlier models with the purchase of a software upgrade. The user can add direct links to Web sites, called "Web Clips", to the home screen. All iPod Touch models are equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g.
On July 15, 2008 the iPhone 2.0 Software Update was released for purchase for the iPod Touch. The update allowed first generation iPod Touch devices access to the App Store to download third-party applications, in addition to a host of minor bug fixes.
On June 17, 2009, the iPhone 3.0 Software Update was released for purchase for the iPod Touch. The update allowed the devices to use new apps, and unlocked the Bluetooth functionality of the second-generation iPod Touch, enabling stereo bluetooth and peer to peer apps.
Now here is some information about a jailbroken device. Jailbreaking is a process that allows iPhone and iPod Touch users to run unofficial code on their devices bypassing Apple's official distribution mechanism, the App Store. Once jailbroken, iPhone users are able to download many applications previously unavailable through the App Store via unofficial installers such as Cydia and Icy.
Jailbreaking is distinct from unlocking, which is the process by which a mobile device is made compatible with telephone networks it was not specifically licensed to be used with. The first jailbreaking method was released on July 10, 2007, which initially was meant to provide a way to use custom ringtones.[1] On August 6, 2007 the first third-party game was released for the iPhone and iPod Touch.[2]
On October 10, 2007, about 3 months after the original iPhone was released, another method to jailbreak the iPhone was discovered. Apple and hackers then engaged in a battle to patch up security holes and to exploit them. Hackers eventually released a tool to permanently jailbreak iPhone OS 1.0.
On the release of iPhone OS 2.0, the iPhone Dev Team released PwnageTool, a jailbreaking application that used a graphical user interface.
In January 2009, the iPhone Dev Team commenced work on jailbreaking the iPod Touch 2G.[3] "redsn0w lite" was the code name for a tethered iPod Touch 2G jailbreak, and in April, redsn0w 0.1 was released.
On March 10, 2009, the untethered jailbreak was released for the iPod Touch 2G utilizing an exploit found by the Chronic Dev Team, and developed with the help of iPhone Dev Team member "planetbeing". It was released as a rough patch, and was not implemented into a GUI until next month, when planetbeing made "redsn0w" based on QuickPwn sources.
On March 17, 2009, Apple announced the release of iPhone OS 3.0.[4] Three months later, the iPhone Dev Team released PwnageTool 3.0 and redsn0w 0.7.2, which allowed users of the original iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch running the OS 3.0 to be jailbroken on both Macs and PCs. The legality of jailbreaking an iPod or iPhone remains unclear, particularly in the context of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. As part of the 2009 DMCA rulemaking, the Electronic Frontier Foundation asked the US Copyright Office to recognize an exemption to the DMCA to permit jailbreaking in order to allow iPhone owners to use their phones with applications that are not available from Apple's store.[18] In response t
