Should I get the Ipad to use as a computer?

top 10 photo editing apps free on Top Rated Free Online Photo Editing Applications

John B

Can it get Adobe Flash and can it get microsoft word basically can it do the things aa normal computer could?

Answer
People are answering without knowing the technology. iPad doesn't support flash but it streams video from all the website except Hulu and some more but same service as Hulu is offered on iPad by many other websites.

Abc streams all their TV shows in high quality. CBS also does the same.TV.com,NBC and many more works flawlessly on iPad. You can watch full length movies online and full episodes of all tv shows.

iPad has Mac iWork which is totally compatible to MS Office which means you can easily create Word document,Spreadsheet and PowerPoint presentation. It can be directly connected to projector to show your presentation. It can upload your work to iWork.com,GoogleDoc and all other WebDAV server in fraction of seconds which is not possible for even the best PC.

Technology is changing and every device is getting sleeker and cloud storage is future so you don't need huge disk space on the device. iPad support that technology. You can seamlessly access your online storage and move files back and forth.

iPad does everything that a regular user would normally does on a computer plus it does many things that a computer either can't do or do it clumsily

If you like to watch movie online then iPad is way better because while watching online content, PC users experience attack of pop ups and spy wares but on iPad you watch only movies without any annoying ad banners or pop ups.

Same applies for download. If you download a video from website on PC, you usually download adware with it but iPad downloads only video. Many people think it cant download which is wrong. I own iPad I know in and out of it.

You can chat to your friends and while chatting , you can send photos and videos as you would do on PC.

You can hold it like book so reading is a pleasure. Gaming is game changer.it's addictive , graphics are stunning. It can be connected to TV and you can actually browse the web on TV. You can also play a movie from a website and watch TV.

I do all my professional work on iPad. I even join meeting from an iPad because it has professional apps like WebEx,Cisco,GoToMeeting.

Photo editing is top notch on this device.

Flash is dead. HTML5 is the future which is supported by iPad. I never miss flash infect I don't want flash even on laptop now. I don't know why are some people just crying over it. And who told them flash is required to play video?

iPad has 200,000 apps which is more than all the software available for other devices on all the websites so complain, that iPad can have only apple approved apps is holds no strength.

iPad has 10,000 free games any time you feel you need some game to entertain, without spending even a penny , within few seconds you will have wonderful games.iBooks has hundreds of free books which is again incredible.

YouTube works like charm others like metacafe, daily motion ,veoh all works.

You have games like Sims3 ,Brothers in Arms, N.O.V.A,Need For Speed and thousands of games more.

What is your favorite Iphone/ Ipod touch app?

alexandra

Hi! I am getting an ipod touch for christmas (i think/hope) and i was wondering what cool apps are out there! also any other information you can think of good or bad! If you have one, give me all the details :) and if you dont have one, still comment because im sure by now you have heard of at least one cool app! :D thanks so much! Happy Holidays!

Answer
hey, josh here,
my top free apps would have to be:
facebook - this is very useful so that you can keep in contact with your friends
Remote - with this app you can control itunes on your computer from anywhere within your wifi zone. (there are many of these apps, some are free and some are paid... i have 4, remote, VLC Remote, iRemote, Snatch... each do different things)
TV Guide - find out whats on what channel
Ebay - keep track of any sales or bid you want to make
Dactyl - this is a fun game, the aim of it is to stop the bombs from blowing up

Top Paid apps would be:
Video safe - with this app you can store videos and apps that you dont want people to see... it has a feature called "snoop stopper" when enabled, if someone try's to get into your safe but types the code wrong 3 times it takes them to a default page where there are a few meaningless photos. (£2.39)

Colour Splash - this app allows you to allows you to quickly and easily edit photos (£1.19)

Call of Duty Zombies - this is a really fun game that Activision released due to its popularity on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC... this game is a lot of fun and i have spent many hours playing it (£5.99)

All EA games - all of the EA games released have been made to very high standards there are many popular titles such as Fifa 10, Madden NFL, The Sims 3, Monopoly... the list goes on and on) (ranges from £1.19 - £5.99)

My favorite app would have to be Facebook just because it is so convenient i use it all the time... it is so easy to use and best of all, its free :)

If you want to look at any of the apps you can check them out on the app store... you will find this on itunes or when you get your ipod you will be able to do it straight from there

have fun with your new ipod...
Merry Christmas

What is the best type/touch-and-type phone in the market as of Dec 2012?

best iphone photo app 2012 on The Best Weather App for iPhone
best iphone photo app 2012 image

Enchantres

It's Christmas time and my father and I decided to gift my mother a beautiful new smartphone. Since my mother basically uses her phone for calling, messaging and music (a lot of music)...and maybe even a little bit of photography (though not a lot), we were looking for a mobile phone that excels in these areas. Another very important requirement is that the phone must have a QWERTY keypad - for my mother does not like touch phones. However, a touch AND type phone is acceptable.

Our current contestants include BlackBerry, Samsung, Nokia and HTC. However, my father has an HTC phone that discharges in a matter of two days. So, we were a little unsure about it. iPhone is out of the contest because it doesn't produce phones with keyboards - to my knowledge.

As for costs, I don't really have a specific range. But it better be below the cost of an iPhone (which is about a 1000 USD here in the Philippines). I would say between USD 240 to 600. But it's not set in stone - the quality and the features of the phone are more important and the range can be extended if necessary.

Answer
The best: Samsung Captivate Glide It's a lot like the popular Samsung Galaxy S II (4.5 stars, $199.99), with the addition of a full, slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a slight bump down in specs. It's our Editors' Choice for keyboarded smartphones on AT&T.

Physical Features, Phone Calls, and Internet
The Captivate Glide measures 4.9 by 2.5 by 0.5 inches (HWD) and weighs 5.2 ounces. Made out of lightly textured black plastic, the Glide looks unassuming, but feels well built and comfortable in your hand.

View all 6 photos in gallery

The 4-inch, 800-by-480-pixel Super AMOLED display is gorgeous. It has fewer subpixels than the Super AMOLED Plus display on the Galaxy S II, but it still looks excellent. The screen can get very bright, but darker colors maintain a luxurious depth and richness. Four haptic feedback-enabled functions keys sit beneath the display, which are suitably responsive. Typing on the on-screen QWERTY was fine, but I suspect most people are looking to the Glide for the real thing. The phone slides open to reveal a large, four-row physical keyboard. The keys are large and backlit, with comfortable, even spacing. They're a bit flat, but it shouldn't take long to adjust to typing on them.

The Glide is a good voice phone. Reception is average, and calls sound rich, clear, and natural in the phone's earpiece. The speakerphone also sounds good but volume doesn't go loud enough to use outdoors. Calls made with the phone are clear, though voices can sound thin and background noise cancellation is just average. I had no trouble connecting to a Jawbone Era Bluetooth headset ($129.99, 4.5 stars) and calls sounded great. Thankfully, voice dialing works better here, using Android's native voice-dialing app, than it does on the Galaxy S II, which uses a version of Vlingo that had difficulty recognizing names.

The Glide is a world phone that uses AT&T's HSPA+ 21 network and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. It also works as a Wi-Fi hotspot with the right service plan. Download speeds averaged 4Mbps down, with peak speeds of 8Mbps, while uploads were around 1Mbps up. Those numbers are good, but they're no match for AT&T's blazing 4G LTE speeds on devices like the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket ($249.99, 4.5 stars). This isn't too big a deal, though, because AT&T only has LTE in 14 cities right now. Battery life was excellent, at 10 hours 3 minutes of continuous talk time.

Processor and Apps
The Captivate Glide is powered by Nvidia's 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor. It scored well in our benchmark tests, easily overpowering single-core devices, though not quite at the top of the dual-core heap.

The phone runs Android 2.3.5 "Gingerbread" with Samsung's TouchWiz extensions. There are some useful add-on apps, including Media Hub, a downloadable music and video store with reasonable prices, and Social Hub, a combination Facebook/Twitter client. There's also some bloatware from AT&T, including FamilyMap and the U-Verse Live TV app, which are both deletable. Other apps, like AT&T Navigator and an AT&T 'Featured Apps' store, are not. The Glide should be compatible with most everything in the Android Market, which currently has over 1250,000 apps.

What app can I use for white borders on instagram photos?

Emily

On Instagram I see a lot of pictures, but some people prefer their pictures as the actual shape, so they cover the rest up with white. Here's an example if you don't know what I'm saying:
http://lifeinlofi.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/squaready-crop-screen-1212-01.jpg

I know of a few apps that does this, but I'm looking for one that can make the edges of the photo round or make the photo a circle (with a white border thing). I've found Squaready and Whiteagram, but I'm pretty sure you can't make the photos round with these. For example:
http://www.seejaneblog.co/wp/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/afterglow-app-via-seejaneblog.jpg

Thanks in advance!

KIndle Fire, Iphone 4 or Iphone 4s, which to buy?

iphone 4s photo apps review on 2011 White iPhone 4 Update: 27th February Launch?
iphone 4s photo apps review image

ILovePizza

I would like to purchase one of these products. In your opinion, which one is the best? I really like the iphone 4 but the iphone 4s just came out and I want the latest model but the iphone 4 is cheaper with a contract. The Kindle Fire is good, but I would like to be able to make calls and it's not a phone. I been waiting the pros and cons for the last two weeks.

Answer
Hey ILovePizza, iPhone has a very small screen you'll ruin your eyes. Kindle Fire has been getting bad reviews being an underpowered device good only for shopping at Amazon web site. Take a look at recently released Nook Tablet - it's been getting rave reviews and it is the best device in it's class - much better than Kindle Fire. It's got Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, Angry Brids, etc., the best battery life (30 % better than Fire), the best non-glare laminated screen (vs, very reflective non-laminated Fire screen), double the RAM and space for apps/photos/movies than Kindle, microSD slot and a microphone for Skype (not on Kindle), physical volume controls on the side (not on Kindle), very smooth video playback with excellent screen, and very fast apps load. Also, it is $224 if sign up for Barnes & Noble membership.
Sample review:
Bloomberg:
Barnes & Nobleâs one-year head start in developing software really shows: scrolling is smoother, the screen reorients itself faster and the device just generally feels zippier.

Is the Samsung Epic 4G Touch a good phone?

Mikey

Answer
Oh yeah!!!
http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/samsung-epic-4g-touch-1040085/review

With a slightly more appealing (brighter and clearer) AMOLED screen than the Samsung Galaxy S2, a similar processor, a gaggle of extra apps and a few added perks, the Samsung Epic 4G Touch is a decidedly powerful phone that matches the quality of the Apple iPhone 4S.â¨

The Samsung Epic 4G Touch is essentially the same phone as the Samsung Galaxy S2, but there are some noteworthy differences. Both phones use the speedy 1.2GHz Exynos processor, which is designed to improve graphics speed for games, videos, photos and other apps.

The Samsung Epic 4G Touch is the best phone on offer from carrier Sprint, and has the distinct advantage of coming at a lower price of just $199 when you sign a two-year contract. wkregards

Answer
You'll need to connect your phone to a PC using a USB cable (or take the memory card out and plug it into a card reader on the PC). You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.

Then download some good photo recovery software that provides a free demo with the ability to preview the files it finds left on the phone (or card).

recover iphone photos?

Joel C

i took some photos from my iphone 3GS to put in a very important task. i accidentally deleted them and i cant find them. my iphone is jailbroken and i made a backup of the photos but i dont want to restore. i tried ssh into "/private/var/mobile/Media/Photos/Thumbs" but when i open them with filejuicer it turns out those photos were from my iphone photo library not the deleted photos from the camera roll. what should i do? is it possible to recover those photos? thanks

i'm using a mac but i also have a windows on a PC. it would be the best if there is a mac solution/file recovery software.
is there a software that allows me to extract and view the photodatabase in the itunes backups? i don't want to restore.

thanks!

Pic: http://www.iphonebuzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/3g-iphone.jpg

Answer
Having used an original iPhone I can tell you it was not right-justified as it would appear to have been in that photo. You can also see here, in the original iPhone announcement, that it was not: http://www.therunningmice.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Original-iPhone-Price.png

I suspect the reason it appears that way in that photo is because there were three more apps to the left of the one in the photo originally that were edited out of the image for one reason or another (my best guess is that they were Safari bookmarks for web apps, since there was no App Store in 1.x, and the photo taker didn't want anyone to see which bookmarks they were using).

What's the best phone on verizon that doesn't need a data plan?

State the phone and the pros/ cons

Answer
The good: The HTC ThunderBolt offers incredibly fast 4G data speeds. The Android 2.2 smartphone also supports simultaneous voice and data over 3G and boasts a large 4.3-inch touch screen, ample storage, and an excellent camera.

The bad: Battery life takes a big hit when using 4G. There is no way to toggle between 3G and 4G.

The bottom line: The HTC ThunderBolt lights up with blazingly fast data speeds, but those who want 4G now should be aware that it takes a big toll on the smartphone's battery life.

Photo gallery: HTC ThunderBolt (Verizon Wireless)
Photo gallery:
HTC ThunderBolt (Verizon Wireless)

Introduced at CES 2011, the HTC ThunderBolt is Verizon's first 4G LTE, and it's finally available for $249.99 with a two-year contract. The Android 2.2 smartphone might not offer the latest and greatest (e.g., dual-core processor), but with the carrier promising average download speeds of 5Mbps to 12Mbps and upload speeds of 2Mbps to 5Mbps, it's no surprise why many are clamoring to get their hands on this device. This includes us, which is why we were so excited to take the HTC ThunderBolt out for a test-drive. The lightning-fast smartphone delivers on many fronts, but it also comes at a cost.

Design
The HTC ThunderBolt is cut from the same cloth as the HTC Evo 4G and the HTC Desire HD, so if you've ever handled those devices, then you have a fairly good idea of what to expect from the ThunderBolt.

At 4.75 inches tall by 2.44 inches wide by 0.56 inch thick and 6.23 ounces, the ThunderBolt isn't for those who prefer dainty devices. The smartphone is large and actually slightly thicker and heavier than the Evo, but it's manageable and the tapered back and soft-touch finish make it comfortable to hold in the hand. As we've come to expect from HTC, the phone is solidly built and has a nice, premium feel to it.

On front, you've got the same 4.3-inch WVGA (800x480 pixels) touch screen as the Evo. There are higher-resolution displays out there, like those on the Motorola Atrix 4G or iPhone 4, but the ThunderBolt's screen still holds up, with clear and bright picture quality. Text was easy to read, and Web pages and video looked lovely on the large screen.

The touch screen is also responsive. Apps launched as we tapped them, and we were able to smoothly navigate through the home screens and menus. The display also features a proximity sensor and built-in accelerometer, which was quick to change screen orientation when we rotated the phone.

The front-facing camera sits right above the screen on the right; below the display are the home, menu, back, and search navigation buttons. Meanwhile, the 8-megapixel camera and flash are located on back, but we really wish there was a dedicated camera button on the phone. Instead, you'll have to use the touch screen to snap photos.

On the bright side, the ThunderBolt has a sturdy kickstand so you can prop the phone on a desk to watch videos, conduct speakerphone calls, and the like. There's a Micro-USB port on the left side, and a volume rocker occupies the right side. Finally, on top of the device, you'll find a power/lock button and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The HTC ThunderBolt comes packaged with an AC adapter, a USB cable, a preinstalled 32GB microSD card, and reference material.

4G features and performance
Before we get to the phone's more-basic features, we thought we'd address the HTC ThunderBolt's whole raison d'etre, and that's 4G support. As mentioned earlier, the ThunderBolt is the first smartphone to work on Verizon's LTE 4G network, which promises average download speeds of 5Mbps to 12Mbps and upload speeds of 2Mbps to 5Mbps.

Given the impressive results we got using Verizon's LG VL600 LTE USB modem, you'd think we'd be a little more prepared for what we experienced on the ThunderBolt, but we were still blown away by what we saw. It's fast. Real fast.

Running Ookla's Speedtest.net app on the handset yielded some erratic and suspicious results (upload speeds were registering up to 39.79Mbps), so we also measured speeds using the phone as a mobile hot spot and as a tethered modem. With the ThunderBolt connected to our MacBook Pro as a mobile hot spot here in New York, we were able to get average download speeds of 7.41Mbps and upload speeds of 6.56Mbps.

By comparison, the HTC Evo 4G from Sprint averaged 3.42Mbps down and 0.93Mpbs up; the Samsung Galaxy S 4G on T-Mobile averaged 4.17Mbps down and 1.68Mbps up; and the HTC Inspire 4G on AT&T averaged 1.75Mbps down and 0.31Mbps up.

We got even better results when we had the ThunderBolt tethered to our Lenovo T61 ThinkPad. We averaged download speeds of 15.58Mbps and upload speeds of 3.44Mbps.

How to backup a Jailbroken Iphone for transfer?

Atyka

I have an old Iphone 3gs that I am planning to upgrade soon. I jailbroke it upon getting it (second iphone Ive done so with) and knew that doing so would likely mean I couldn't easily transfer my data to a new phone when the time came. Now that the time is here I'd like to check and see if it would be possible to somehow transfer data (contacts, notes, photos, music, etc) to a new Iphone after I jailbreak it. Any input is appreciated.

Answer
You can not restore information from a jail broken device because it will corrupt the new device. I have a iPhone 4S and 5 I had my 4s jail broken and transferred the information to the 5 and it corrupted it. Music and apps aren't a problem but contacts might be. You always want to set up a new device option when getting a new I device

How to sync iPhone with new itunes without losing data?

Kate M

My laptop broke and so now I have no itunes to sync my iphone with. Luckily I have all my music on a different computer. Is there a way I can sync my iphone with the other computer (to update etc) without losing all my data: contacts, notes, photos, apps etc?

Answer
Auto sync with new computer will erase iphone contents those not purchased from itunes store, but the contacts will be kept, notes not sure.
itunes blocks this function since itunes is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to iphone. you must utilize other tools to achieve that. There're couple of tools for transferring the files between iphone and computer (for backup)depends on your demands, e.g transfer only songs/videos, transfer photos etc. You can have a look of below review site, hope it useful.

Hello, friend. If you just want to view the pictures and videos, you don't need to pay for the software. The free trial also allows you to preview. Only when you need to save the pictures and videos on computer, you need to pay. So try Tenorshare iPhone data recovery. Just download the free trial.

Is it dangerous to post photos on the net without editing?

Emily

hi. I'm talking about iphones and digital cameras and cellphones.
I have a few cats in my house and i often take photos of them for my blog.
Since I'm not good at editing photos, i often post their photos without editing anything.
Then a friend of mine told me that i should use photoshop or some tool and edit each photo otherwise someone could get some info's about where I live.

Is that true? I've heard about GPS thingy and such but not sure how it's possible.
Should I edit each photo before I post it online?

Answer
What your friend is referring to is called EXIF data. Depending on the phone/camera/format, it may store information such as GPS (geolocation) and time taken.

Here's a list of some of the attributes that are listed in the EXIF data:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exchangeable_image_file_format#Example

Here's a website you can upload your pictures to if you want to see what EXIF data is available:
http://regex.info/exif.cgi

How to disable geo-tagging on an iPhone:

1. Turn on your iPhone, and select "Settings" from the menu screen.

2. Press "General," and then select "Reset."

3. Select the "Reset Location Warnings" option.

4. Press "Reset Warnings."

5. Press and open your camera application on the menu screen. Select "Don't Allow" when prompted.

The founder of imgur (honestly, the best image hosting service online) supports privacy and one of his main reasons for creating the imgur service was to help people maintain their privacy when posting images - Imgur.com strips out exif data of all images uploaded to it.

There's also an imgur apps for mobile:
iPhone: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/imgurapp/id501416446?mt=8
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imgurforandroid&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5pbWd1cmZvcmFuZHJvaWQiXQ..

Hope this helps

Whats the difference between and Ipod Touch 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen?

Craig R

I can't see much of a difference so I don't know what to buy. I know theirs a voice control on the 3rd gen, but I would only get the 8gb so I wouldn't get a voice control. From what I have seen comparing both they both look the same. Can anyone help?
Ben, it's the Ipod touch that I am wanting not a Iphone.

Answer
As rumored, the iPhone's iTunes Store took a step in the direction of parity with its desktop sibling by adding the ability to purchase and rent movies, TV shows, music videos, and audiobooks from inside the phone's iTunes app.

As with podcasts, music, and apps, any content that's over 10MB will only be available to download via Wi-Fi, and not via the iPhone's cellular connection. Apple's also made content available from iTunes U, the store's educational section with classes and lectures from schools around the world.

In addition, the iTunes application will now support users logging into one or more different iTunes accounts, and even let you create accounts directly on the phone. Previously, the iTunes app on the phone pulled its account information from whatever account was logged in on the computer that you were syncing with.

Parental units

Apple also showed off a few additions to the iPhone's parental controls section, most notably the ability for parents to restrict what applications their children can use. This also requires that all developers submit an age-rating for their applications, as Apple senior vice president Scott Forstall later said. The App Store has received a lot of criticism for its issues with its approval process, including some apps that have been banned as a result of objectionable content, even in cases where the content was similar to that being sold elsewhere in the iTunes Store. Enabling restrictions on applications and forcing developers to rate their apps could be a way for Apple to absolve itself from some of the responsibility of policing for edgier content.

Fill 'er up

AutoFill was briefly mentioned in Apple's iPhone presentation back in March, but this was the first time we got a glimpse--albeit a brief one--at what it's capable of. As in Safari on the desktop, not only can AutoFill remember the usernames and passwords for your Web sites, but it can also populate contact information fields on forms based on the information you've entered in your phone.

Tether ball

Apple took a little more time to talk about tethering, the ability to share your iPhone's cellular data connection with your Mac or PC. While the company didn't show us anything about how the feature works, it did say that a number of their partners in different countries would be offering the feature, though AT&T was notably absent. (A spokesperson from AT&T later told Macworld that the feature would arrive, though they did not say when or how much it would cost). Apple did, however, say that the tethering capability would work with Macs and PCs and could be used over either USB or Bluetooth.

Little iPhone lost

Perhaps the most ahhh-inducing unseen feature of iPhone 3.0 was the newly-unveiled Find My iPhone service. Available only to MobileMe subscribers, Find My iPhone allows you to locate your handset should you misplace it. You access the service via MobileMe's Web interface, at which point you have several options. Firstly, the Web page can tell you the location of your iPhone, using the unit's built-in location services, letting you know if you left your phone in the movie theater last night, or in the back of that cab.

You can also send a message to your iPhone, along with an alert sound that plays even if the phone's ringer is off. This can help in situations where the GPS location doesn't: for example, if you've misplaced the iPhone somewhere in your house. The chime can be played repeatedly, enabling you to easily track down the phone.

Finally, if the phone is lost for good, or contains sensitive information, you can also opt to remotely wipe all data from your phone: contacts, mail, music, photos, etc. And of course, should you then locate your phone, all you need to do is plug your iPhone back into your computer, and you can restore from the latest backup.

Language, please

The iPhone OS already supported almost 20 languages in iPhone 2.0--iPhone 3.0 expands that number to about 30, including long-awaited support for right-to-left languages like Hebrew and Arabic. Apple also noted the inclusion of Thai, Greek, and Korean, and noted that every keyboard has both landscape and portrait orientations.

The "s" is for software?

Along with its speedy new hardware, the iPhone 3G S also brings with it a variety of new software features. While these features are included in the iPhone OS 3.0 update, they're only available to iPhone 3G S users.

The 3G S adds new camera features, including auto-focus, auto-exposure, and auto-white-balancing, all of which works in tandem the the 3G S's new camera. There's also a tap-to-focus feature that lets you select which part of a scene you want to focus on. In addition, the camera can also shoot video, which you're able to trim using a built in filmstrip view very similar to that of iMovie '09. Once you've trimmed the clip, you can easily share it over e-mail, MMS, or upload it to YouTube or your MobileMe gallery.

What are your most favorite FREE Iphone apps?

free iphone apps on iPhone game: Lets Golf by Gameloft FREE Download (Today Only) | Daily ...
free iphone apps image
Q. What free iphone apps are your favorite and why?

Answer
Short answer...All of them! They are FREE!

I just ran into this site a week ago and it is awesome if you want to find all the best and free iPhone apps with the least amount of searching. They must have a feed coming in and it has an updated list of the Top 50 iPhone apps for each category, both paid and free! It saves me a lot of time, because I know the odds of junk apps goes way, way down... It's super easy to use and the whole site is really well done, not just the part where the feed is. I am going to put a link to the page where all the categories are listed: http://appfairy.com/blog/

Have fun searching these lists, I know I do every day pretty much.

Is there anyway to make money with free iPhone apps?

Hannibal

I've got an idea on an iPhone app, but I'm not really sure people will pay for it, but I'm not sure if it'll make any money with adds if it's free.
My question is, do free iPhone apps make money?

Answer
Yea, they do. Most developers are moving towards the freemium model where the app itself is free but they have in app purchases that cost money. So if it's like a farmville type game, they can charge money for additional resources. On top of that, mobile ad networks like Admob, iAd have banner ads which makes decent change as well. Although out of all the ad types, they banner ads probably have the lowest returns. You can take a look at upcoming mobile ad networks like Leadbolt which have multiple ad types that can suit most app developer's needs

What is the best blackberry phone that is reasonably priced?

What is the best blackberry phone that isn't too expensive? with big screen, big keyboard, and good camera on it too. and also are there free apps for blackberry phones? are they like android phones?

Answer
The BlackBerry Q5 would be what you're looking for. I have a Z10 and always been a BlackBerry user. With the BlackBerry Z10 (Q10) you get what's called BlackBerry Balance which allows you to do business and play without having them interfere with eachother. If your phone was to ever be stolen or lost there's an app called BlackBerry Protect which allows you to track your phone and keep it secure and if hacked the phone would do a full security wipe without your permission, just be sure you have all apps backed up in BlackBerry Link(security is the top priority. Even Obama has a BlackBerry). The UI is smooth to the touch (BlackBerry Flow) and allows for easy software navigation. It's OS system uses a QNX Neutrino microkernel OS that enables the use of Flash and HTML5 capabilities and is prone to crashes (http://m.crackberry.com/history-qnx-and-itâs-implementation-blackberry-10), also known to be embedded in systems around us such as social networks, cars, hospitals and space shuttles to name a few( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGW76JB90Ro)which uses the C/C++ computing programing language (QNX is used in systems where the cost of failure is very high"- QNX CEO Dan Dodge) and is also an OS compiler running Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on update) Dalvik APIS, Adobe Air/Flash, and Java with QNX C/C++ native. It allows the option of Internet thetering so you could use it as a modem. The features of the hardware are limited. When you look at it you will realize there's no home button. This phone allows for you to only use touch with multiple swiping gestures that takes time to get used to. This is the main feature that makes this standout among other phones such as the iPhone. Typing is much easier where with it you don't even have to use type. All you need to do is start with the first letter and the phone will do the rest on it's own (predictive text), just flick up the word of your choice. The camera has a timeshift feature that allows for you to choose the perfect shot and has a cool story maker app that allows you to make PowerPoint like videos combining videos and photos alike with background music added. Internet (4G LTE) is much faster than other phones. If you're not familiar with BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) well here's your chance. This is the main reason why teens buy or have BlackBerry's. This allows you to exchange your pin number to friends (those with BBM) and communicate with them but also has video chat (similar to FaceTime on iPhone but for BlackBerry) and screen sharing and BBM is also security encrypted. Unlike the iPhone the BlackBerry is also NFC compatible. The only thing this phones lacks is apps which it started with 70,000 and now has 120,000+ apps with more being added but allows for you to sideload Android apps. The phone can also be used as a gaming console. There are so many things this phone has that many others don't and is considered the best phone in the market. Don't get tricked into buying something that you might not like and end up being stuck with your choice. Do the research on the specs of each phone.

Explaining the Difference:

The difference between iPhone and BlackBerry

To operate an iPhone you have a home button to push. You push it to turn it on and to get in and out of apps as with the BlackBerry Z10 you have no home button which means you have to use your fingers. To operate it you swipe up, left and right and to get out of an app you simply swipe up from the bottom.

Fun Fact:

Out of 600,000 phones the DoD uses, 470,000 are BlackBerry's, 41000 are iPhone's and 87,00 are Androids so BlackBerry wins in best security. (watch this ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dY1ecfWT3GQ)

* BBM might have been the reason to buy the older BlackBerry's but that's not the case with the new BlackBerry10 devices. This platform bought new features to the table and a whole different mobile ecosystem with no lags, malware, and better security all with QNX. They already gave people on the other platforms the opportunity to witness the BlackBerry10 OS from their phones (http://global.blackberry.com/static/blackberry-10/glimpse/index . html)and that was one reason why people switched and now they are bringing BBM to other platforms to lure in more people. BlackBerry has the most powerful mobile computing operating system (QNX) so seeing how BBM will be on the iPhone and Android platforms I say it's a way for them to experience the new BlackBerry Messenger app new features (video chat and screen sharing) to regain their market share that they lost to the iPhone and Android phones. On their part its positive but even if they don't gain consumers they're still making money off the other platforms by allowing BBM service on other phones. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4l0SNyyP3E&list=FLni2YPopE_QrfuEsd5_U-yg&index=1)

How to sync picture from iPhone to Mac?

I took photos with my iPhone in the summer and I decided to sync photos to computer with iTunes. I have tried some times but it doesn't works! How come trying to transfer iPhone photo to PC computer isn't working? Is there any programs help? THANKS!

Answer
With a 3-megapixel autofocus camera and a photo application that makes it easy to share, iPhone 3GS is the most photo-friendly phone ever.
Select photos you want to email and iPhone opens a new message for you. Send photos via MMS, too. Or post everything directly to your MobileMe Gallery where friends and family can browse and download them.
It's just a small piece of cake for syncing picture from iPhone to Mac.

It would help SO much if you could list the different kinds of Mac computers and the prices. emphasis on the cheapest but still has Also of the cool features like photo booth and garage band. That would be so much help! Thanks!
10 points for best answer! :)

Answer
Brand new, they cost a minimum of at least $1,000 for a simple computer that doesn't do much or have a lot of software. Right now, most of what you're paying for is a brand name. I don't know what the iCloud and the Lion OS will do when they come out, but so far, the only Apple devices worth their price are the iPads, iPhones and iPods.

Where in the Apple store are you able to take those pictures with added cool effects?

Christine

It looks so cool,I'd like to see it myself
But when I enter the store,I just see that the iphone is able to take pictures but just boring pictures.
Please don't respond with "just go ask them."
I just want to know what device the feature is on.;
