Iphone photo recovery?

Q. I haven't been able to find a definite answer so far;
I took a bunch of pictures. Then when i plugged it into the computer, it forced an update before backing up. After update, all pics are gone. Please, Please, PLEASE tell me i can get these back.

Answer
There were same several complains from i phone users lately but there is no definite answer up to date. However to make sure that you can still recover all of your photos you must stop using your i phone for a while or your files will be over-written.

I have Stellar Photo Recovery in my system right now I downloaded it free and I only had to pay the discounted price of measly $39 after I made sure that it found the files I needed. I got mine from here: http://www.retrievedeletedphotos.com

You got plenty of options but you must be cautious of what and where you download, free ones might have virus, spyware or malware with them so I don't really recommend it. You can read other trustworthy software reviews such as Odboso and Wondershare here: http://www.photo-recovery-review.com

Answer
For Android OS : Pixlr Express is the best. Other great apps are PicsArt, PicsPlay, Cymera, Camera360, PicCollage (If you want to make a collage), Repix, Snapseed.

For iOS: Pixlr Express, PicsPlay and Repix are also available on the AppStore. I don't know much about the rest.

For your PC: Try the chrome app Pixlr Touch Up. Or use the website PicMonkey.

is it possible to retrieve photos from your iphone when your pc is reformatted?

=-haneylet

my pc got reformatted just yesterday and it doesn't have any back up. so, it came back to me with nothing in it but mozilla firefox and other applications necessary like microsoft office, adobe and etc. but all my files are gone now. is it possible to retrieve all those? all my photos were synced to my iphone, not taken directly from the phone..

Answer
Sit down, it might be a bumpy ride. If you aren't a super computer wiz, that's ok, but be sure to read up before attempting, because it is possible.

Because Apple does everything with iTunes, in order to retrieve files from your iphone, a jailbreak is necessary. Jailbreaking is the process of removing the restrictions apple puts on it's products. Not only will it allow you, with a utility, to view and copy files on it, but jailbreaking will also allow you to install things like themes and other third-party apps. To learn more about jailbreaking, go to http://www.michaelfruchter.com/blog/2009/09/jailbreaking-my-iphone-its-all-about-the-customization/

For a detailed procedure for jailbreaking on software version 3.1.3, go to http://www.redmondpie.com/sn0wbreeze-3.1.3-jailbreak-iphone-3g-3gs-3.1.3/

Then, you will have to download Itunes and a nifty utility called iFunbox from http://www.i-funbox.com/. iFunbox allows you to explore the files saved on your Iphone as if it were a flash drive or external hard drive.

Once everything is installed, open funbox and navigate to the photos folder. Then highlight the pics you want to copy and click "copy to PC" on the upper bar.

I wish you luck, and hope it works out. I know it might be confusing if you don't know a lot about it, so feel free to message me or ask questions!

i think im gonna get a iphone or ipod touch i have been looking at thing's on the internet like about jail break and updates and software and i don't know what the hell all that stuff means what can you tell me about all these things or anything about software i should know of

Answer
the iphone 3.0 operating system recently came available to all iphone and ipod tough users. it gives us the ability to do heaps more features on the iphone and the ipod touch, i would personally recommend the iphone (i have one myself) its a great phone, i use to have an ipod touch when it first came out, that was great at the time too but i feel that the iphone is the way to go :)

Itâs a phone, an iPod, and an Internet device in one. It gives you access to thousands of applications. And itâs built on technology thatâs years ahead of its time.

Revolutionary Phone
With the Multi-Touch interface on iPhone, you can make a call simply by tapping a name or number in your contacts or favorites list, your call log, or just about anywhere. Visual Voicemail lets you select and listen to messages in whatever order you want â just like email.

Widescreen iPod
iPhone shows off your content â music, movies, TV shows, and more â on a beautiful 3.5-inch display. Add to your collection by downloading music and video wirelessly
from the iTunes Store. Scroll
through songs and playlists
with the touch of a finger.
Even browse your album
artwork using Cover Flow.

Breakthrough Internet Device
iPhone uses fast 3G and Wi-Fi wireless connections to deliver rich HTML email, Maps with GPS, and Safari â the most advanced web browser on a mobile device. It has Google and Yahoo! search built in. And since iPhone multitasks, you can make a phone call while emailing a photo or surfing the web over a Wi-Fi or 3G connection.

The Fastest iPhone Ever
The first thing youâll notice about iPhone 3GS is how quickly you can launch applications. Web pages render in a fraction of the time, and you can view email attachments faster. Improved performance and updated 3D graphics deliver an incredible gaming experience, too. In fact, everything you do on iPhone 3GS is up to 2x faster and more responsive than iPhone 3G.

Now you can shoot video, edit it, and share it â all on your iPhone 3GS. Shoot high-quality VGA video in portrait or landscape. Trim your footage by adjusting start and end points. Then share your video in an email, post it to your MobileMe gallery, publish it on YouTube, or sync it back to your Mac or PC using iTunes.

3-Megapixel Camera
The new 3-megapixel camera takes great still photos, too, thanks to built-in autofocus and a handy new feature that lets you tap the display to focus on anything (or anyone) you want.

Voice Control
Voice Control recognizes the names in your Contacts and knows the music on your iPod. So if you want to place a call or play a song, all you have to do is ask.

With a chat-style view and an intelligent Multi-Touch keyboard that predicts and suggests words as you type, iPhone texts smarter than any smartphone.

Sending SMS and MMS
Watch the video
Text like you talk.
Messages appear on your iPhone as an ongoing conversation, so itâs easy to pick up where you left off. You can even forward one or more messages to others.

Take suggestions.
The intelligent keyboard predicts and suggests words as you type. It also features a built-in dictionary and

Send MMS.
Take a photo or shoot some video, then send it via Messages. You can also send audio recordings from Voice Memos, contact information from Contacts, and locations from Maps.*

With a 3-megapixel autofocus camera and a photo application that makes it easy to share, iPhone 3GS is the most photo-friendly phone ever.

Taking Photos
Watch the video
Tap to take a picture.
iPhone snaps shots with a tap then saves them in the Camera Roll, where theyâre easy to enjoy. Rotate iPhone to see a photo in landscape. Zoom in or out with a pinch or a double-tap. Turn any photo into your iPhone wallpaper. iPhone even geotags your photos with information about where they were taken.
How to use a photo as your wallpaper

Share your photos.

Select photos you want to email and iPhone opens a new message for you. Send photos via MMS, too.* Or post everything directly to your MobileMe Gallery where friends and family can browse and download them.

the iphone is simply an amazing phone.

Please be honest, just not rude =) And are they good for a 12 yr old? Because I'm 12 and so yeah...

Some of them were edited using two apps from my iPad, just saying. All edited ones were also taken by my iPad's camera. The rest is just using a digital camera. I kept the last photo small because when I put full view it was too big for the screen. I also have the idea of taking a picture of dead roses in the middle of a road but I'm not 100% sure about it. What do u think of it?
I forgot to mention, yes I have asked this question before but then Yahoo Answers didn't let me see it and the answers...don't know why though

Answer
They are promising. Obviously you are in need of an SLR camera to enhance your photos, but they are good. Take classes so you can learn about different ways to take a picture and make it better, like white balance and direction of light

(Btw age does not matter when taking photgraphs, i started when i was younger than you but didn't ask people to judge on my age . . . just saying)

iOS 7 users PLEASE HELP?

euphoric

hiiii, i currently have a 16 GB iphone 4s and i have a few questions about the new iOS7

1) I heard the software crashes a lot on the 4 and 4s. Is that true? Should I just wait until the next update?

2) I HAVE NO SPACE ON MY PHONE! I have 1.7 GB available and thats not enough to download iOS7. So if I delete the apps that are taking up the most space (twitter, instagram, facebook) can I redownload those after i install the new software?

3) Why do my apps take up so much space? My twitter app takes up 1.1 GB (I have multiple accounts on my phone) and Instagram takes up 271 MB. On my friends phone it takes up only 54 MB. Why is this?

4) While im asking Apple related questions, I have a really old 8GB iPod Touch (the one without the camera). I want to transfer all my useless pictures and apps there but it says i have an outdated software. It's currently running version 4.2.1, is there a way to update it?

THANK YOU SO MUCH, I really need the help :)

Answer
Regarding question 4, You should be able to transfer you photos to your old iPod using a PC with iTunes, but iOS 4.2.1 is the maximum, and newer apps will not run on it. You can find compatible apps in the iTunes store with this tool (and there are lots of good apps and games):
https://sites.google.com/site/iossearch/

What are some good iPhone photo editing apps for free?

Q. I need some good photo editing apps for an iPhone. I have "fotolr" & "Picart" but i need new ones. Free ones though. :)

Answer
There are tons of great photo apps for the iPhone and iPad.

Photo Editor - Snapseed is a comprehensive photo app that you'll wind up using every day. Photoshop mobile is another editor to consider. And Befunky is great too with the addition of more fun editing features.

Swap Photo Parts - With Juxtaposer you can take one part from one photograph and add that part into a second photo.

Panoramic Photos - Pano features the ability to take 360-degree panoramas using up to sixteen photos with a semi-transparent guide helps you line up each shot perfectly. With Pano's alignment tools, blending, and colour-correction algorithms provide you can really get seamless images in just seconds - I have been amazed.

Text on Photos - Photophrase blends beautiful typography with pictures to create unique images you can share. You can use Photophrase for photo captioning, photo sharing, and just plain photo fun.

Funny Faces - Faceship offers tons of face-changing effects! Besides the TinyFace, effects include a bubbleface, square head, nerd glasses (with enlarged eyeballs!), catface, the best moustache ever, some crazy mirror effects, horrible zits, sad face and happy faces, fat neck, and a bunch more. Another option is PhotoGoo which lets you turn your photos to Goo! Create funny facial expressions from your friends faces.

Un-crop - If you've ever taken a hasty photo on your phone and didn't leave enough room on the outside, AntiCrop is the app can uncrop those photos by filling in the edges with just a few swipes.

Android gingerbread/icecream vs ios5 vs windows 7.5 mango vs symbian belle?

RKO RULZ

1.pros and cons of above os,5 stars to best answer.also
2.do you think nokia can retain lost glory with windows 7.5 and symbian belle/cindy.

Answer
Can't comment on Android, don't follow closely enough but it looks like Gingerbread is mostly stability improvements and poor face recognition.

iOS 5: Extremely stable and access to loads of Apps on the App Store. iOS 5 also has Siri (virtual assistant/voice control) and other features like built in Photo and Video editing, free messaging, free video calling (FaceTime. Not sure if others have a built in equivalent). When you look any OS really, also look at hardware. iOS 5 and iPhone are tightly integrated and controlled to work perfectly, end-to-end.

Windows Phone 7.5: This is really just a catch up OS, Microsoft fell behind in mobile OS, now they catch up. And pretty well I admit. I still prefer iOS 5, but Mango has a nice UI and great set of features.

Symbian: To me symbian is pretty much gone, only used on basic phones. Nokia is moving to Windows Phone for their future products. Symbian fell too far behind, and don't really look like they want to. Incredibly stable, but lacks so many features that the competition offers. I hope Nokia doesn't come back, they didn't really release good products.

Most of it depends on personal preference, the look and feel and so on.
