What are some popular, good, and free photo editing apps for iPhone?

popular photo editing apps on iPhoto photo-editing app for iPad

Gabby

I've been so lost! I've seen people's pictures, they look so beautiful and good! I've tried asking, but none of them reply. I'll give you some examples, in some pictures it's like mirrored and in others it had black or white thick side borders. Some of the pictures look a little grayed and they look smooth and clear, but they use their iPhones to do so! I've been really curious what photo apps there were, but free ones, since I can't use anymore money on it for a long time! Thanks! xoxo

Answer
For the borders use whitagram and squareready . For the smoothed look get pixlromatic. Also try phonto .

What are the best free android apps to get for my htc evo phone? Is there a battery saver app?

Ryan 13

It can be games, tools, or even a photo editing app. Since my phone drains a lot, someone told me about an app for saving battery, but I forgot the name of it, so what is the best app than can save/increase the battery life. thanks

Answer
-"Photoshop Express" is a decent free photo editing app.
-"Angry birds" is an extremely popular game that is free in the Android market.
-"TuneIn" Radio is an application for listening to local radio stations, it uses the internet to get them, unlike the FM radio app that requires you to use headphones as an antenna, which doesn't work very well.
-"Shop Savvy" is a good product search/barcode search application.
-"VoterMap" is a cool app for political discussions if you are interested in that sort of thing.
-"Runkeeper" is a really nice exercise management application.
-eBuddy is an IM client that can connect to anything from AIM, Yahoo IM, MSN, Facebook chat, ect.

Those are some of my most used free applications.

How to edit Instagram photos like this? Please help!?

the secret

I don't know what apps to use to edit my pictures like hers:

http://web.stagram.com/n/maddiecarina/

I really love the vintage-type editing she does.
I have an iPhone 4S and I'm actually willing to pay for apps considering I got a $50 iTunes Gift Card for Christmas, haha.
Thanks :-)
Might as well advertise, haha. Follow me on Instagram, I'll actually follow back: @lolviri

Answer
I have to wonder why you would want to emulate an image that is nothing more than a snapshot and that has NO detail in either the dark areas nor in the bright.

About the second class in photography you would have learned to to avoid such flaws.

It seems that mistakes and flaws in executing a photograph has now become a new standard.

Any good iPhone photo editing apps for free?? I want to make better edits for Instagram!?

Sadie

i like the hipster/vintage/retro look. :)

Answer
Check old OldBooth, Photogene, Best Camera App, Comicfy, TiltShift, Night Camera and many more iPhone Applications - there are tons to try out.

Yahoo user

I'm not eligible for an upgrade for a few months but want to start looking into phones now so I don't make an impulse decision when it comes time.

I'm not too into the technical aspects of phones. Outside of calls and texts I really only use my phone for social networking apps. I don't take many pictures but I still like a high quality photo.

I'm asking this because maybe you know something about these phones that can help make my decision easier.

Answer
The Nokia Lumia 920 is what I would buy. Or if that's not available on your carrier, the HTC 8X or any of the upper end Windows Phones.

Why? Because the most important thing for me is how enjoyable the phone is to use, and in that regard WP8 is in a league of its own. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak said Windows Phone was "more beautiful and intuitive" than Android and iOS, and joked that Steve Jobs had been "reincarnated at Microsoft". Even little things like the menus and the text are ridiculously pretty. You can sort of see what I'm talking about here: http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo88/americanidle27/windowsphone_zps4fb900ca.jpg

Even the apps are prettier than on other operating systems:

The Lumia 920 is also widely considered to have the best camera among smartphones. All are capable of taking decent pics in daylight, but when you compare it to the iPhone 5 in low light, you can see it has the clear advantage:
https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHRMchQwgaOe06wFu7mPrClgbX2oQtExPWthd9fhGNXb7cRif97KqQveYZNb4PTTWLO2EBiX8Qrzc7yfFQVnWJ5KlxJZHx9rzFEkSCtNKy5wFAkp9nfawWLrCG8FhH4dwAoIhZ9Tdq8o4/s1600/post-920-wp20120925041.jpg

http://www.samsung-galaxys3.net/wp-content/uploads/lumia-920-vs-cameras-2.png

If you've never used a Windows Phone, it's worth driving out to a store and spending some time with one. For your needs of social networking and a good camera, the Lumia 920 seems to be the best fit. Otherwise, my second choice would be the HTC One. So far almost every review of the Galaxy S4 has said that, while the S4 is a good phone, the HTC is just a little better. The HTC One also comes with the arguably best Android skin, and the only one that can even come close to WP8 in terms of design.

Necessary skills to learn when getting into the internet marketing business?

photo editing apps yahoo on Book News # 186 TABLE OF CONTENTS- CBN # 186 X. Letter from the Editor ...
photo editing apps yahoo image

.

I've been thinking of doing some type of businesses based on the internet, such a hosting service, but I'm not sure what skills I need.

Does it help or is it a must to learn at least a moderate level of C++, html, etc? It seems it would be, but I'd like the opinion of experienced people here so that I can be more prepared. I'm a complete at this.

And thanks in advance.

Answer
First pay no attention to the first 2 answers because those are obviously people who are just trying to spam Yahoo answers to make them self money.

Hopefully I can answer your questions since I've been in this field for a while.
Internet marketing isn't as easy as people or late night tv commercials make it out to be. If it was, then everyone would be doing it and be rich right?

So lets get to the basic skills you need. Depending on what you want to do is what will dictate what skill set you want to have. Of course the more skills you have the better.
Programming languages such as C++, C# or .net are only needed if you are intending to build programs to sale on the internet or build giant social networking sites. Not really internet marketing. If you want to get into hosting or security then a solid UNIX/Linux and C++ background is what you need.
If you want to get into building mobile apps for phones then Java will be your best bet because most every system can run Java and its pretty easy to learn. Android is growing fast and Objective C is good only for iPhones.

Now for internet marketing specifically. If you are going to build a site from scratch or use a template then you need to have a working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, and CSS. If you are planning on using blogging software like Wordpress or Blogger, then HTML, CSS and PHP are what you will need to know. Being a pro at it isn't necessary but having a solid understanding and being able to read and understand the code is a great help when trouble shooting sites. And trust me, you will trouble shoot often.

Additional skills to be familiar with is photo editing software like Photoshop or Paint.net. Being able to take, create and alter your own images will help a lot with saving time and money when you can do everything yourself.
The last skill/tool that you will need is being able to write. Write unique, original and appealing content and write often to be able to gain a readership or being able to sale your product.

Hopefully this is gives you a good idea as to how to get started. There is a tone of information on the net so always keep reading and learning. Soon you will be able to filter out what is real and what is useless.

Can someone tell me the good and bad about Adobe Photoshop Elements 11?

Emily B.

I've been doing photography for a while, but I am needing to buy a Photoshop software. Photoshop Elements 11 isn't very expensive and its seems good... I just need to know a bit more about it first.

Answer
Hi!
I have used PE11 and I am a big fan of it.Photoshop Elements continues to be the best way to get some of Photoshop's coolest effects without requiring you to attend a night course. This version streamlines the interface, adds some cool new effects, and exports to Vimeo. Here are the pros and cons of PE11:

Pros:
Lots of powerful image-manipulation tools.
Strong face- and geo-taggingânow with integrated maps.
Excellent output optionsâprinting, online, photo books.
Good help with performing advanced edits.

Cons:
Separate organizer app is less integrated than that of other photo apps.
Help system scattered.
Not native 64-bit.

If you are interested in buying it, here I made your work simple:

I cant find any good editing apps or photoshop apps on the app store? I really want a overlaying app and etc. just and good photo editing apps! Thankyou!

Answer
There are tons of great photo apps for the iPhone and iPad.

Photo Editor - Snapseed is a comprehensive photo app that you'll wind up using every day. Photoshop mobile is another editor to consider. And Befunky is great too with the addition of more fun editing features.

Swap Photo Parts - With Juxtaposer you can take one part from one photograph and add that part into a second photo.

Panoramic Photos - Pano features the ability to take 360-degree panoramas using up to sixteen photos with a semi-transparent guide helps you line up each shot perfectly. With Pano's alignment tools, blending, and colour-correction algorithms provide you can really get seamless images in just seconds - I have been amazed.

Text on Photos - Photophrase blends beautiful typography with pictures to create unique images you can share. You can use Photophrase for photo captioning, photo sharing, and just plain photo fun.

Funny Faces - Faceship offers tons of face-changing effects! Besides the TinyFace, effects include a bubbleface, square head, nerd glasses (with enlarged eyeballs!), catface, the best moustache ever, some crazy mirror effects, horrible zits, sad face and happy faces, fat neck, and a bunch more. Another option is PhotoGoo which lets you turn your photos to Goo! Create funny facial expressions from your friends faces.

Un-crop - If you've ever taken a hasty photo on your phone and didn't leave enough room on the outside, AntiCrop is the app can uncrop those photos by filling in the edges with just a few swipes.

What happens when you sync your iPhone to a new computer and update it? I just need to know if it will delete any of your data (photos, videos, applications, etc.).
I need to know what happens when you sync an iPhone to a new computer and then update it. I want to know if I can keep my applications, music, and other data on my phone.

Answer
It will ask you if you want to over write data. Basiclly you can't connect it upto another computer and try to get songs of that aswell as your own. Its either or.

If thats what your trying to do (get songs from 2 different computers) then you can get the songs from the iphone put onto the pc and sing it with itunes.

The way to get music from your phone onto your pc is Sharepod.

Google it, it's a really easy to use program.

Why won't facebook show the EDITED version of photos from my iphone?

Q. I upload all of my photos from my iPhone to Facebook. I always edit my photos (crop, lighting and red-eye) using the regular iPhone photo editor that comes standard in the photo application. When I upload the edited photos to Facebook, the originals ALWAYS show up. It is infuriating and I want to know what I'm doing wrong. I've tried everything but can't seem to fix the glitch.

Answer

i had it on my toshiba for a year, and i want to now connect iphone to my new Macbook pro, but i dont want to loose anything on it, (music, videos, photos, contacts, apps, etc)

is there anything i can do? i do have a big external harddrive? maybe that might help? if you can show me a youtube video or a site with a walkthrough?

Answer
This walkthrough works (I've done it myself) but it includes spending $4.99 on software:
http://theappleblog.com/2009/02/26/sync-iphone-ipod-with-multiple-computers/

Here's one that looks free (but I've never done it):
http://www.andrewgrant.org/2008/03/30/how-to-sync-an-iphone-with-two-or-more-computers.html

The only REAL way to do it is to manually transfer over all your media files, iTunes Library, Note, Conacts, and Apps from the PC to an external hard drive, then move them to the Mac, then rebuild or replace your iTunes Library files and .plst file, then deauthorize your iPhone from the PC, then plug it into the Mac and Restore to Factory Settings, then move all your files back to the iPhone. Yuck.

Good luck!

How to transfer data solely from iPhone to new iTunes library?

Sam L

I have an iPhone 4S. My previous computer was completely destroyed during a storm, so I have no access to my old iTunes library. Is there any possible way to transfer the data on my iPhone (music, messages, pictures, everything) to a new iTunes program on my new laptop? I know syncing is kind of a one way street, but is there any way to go the other direction?

Answer
You can use Free Mobile Helper to transfer your music, photos, apps and contacts.
Follow the steps as follow
1. Donwload Free Mobile Helper at http://www.macrobile.com/download/?r=129 and install it.
2. Connect your iphone 4S with PC through WIFI or USB
3. Add your music, photos and others to Free Mobile Helper. Free Mobile Helper -- Data --Backup/Restore -- Backup Then you can see a window remind you to select the items for backup. You can select the items you want to backup. Then click the "Backup" button.
You can select the file you backup these files.

How many pictures, songs, and apps does a iPhone 4s hold?

best quality iphone photo app on view all 5 photos in gallery
best quality iphone photo app image

Camille

I am on the market for an iPhone 4s and I was curious as to how much of the previously stated items it would hold. (16gb, 32gb, & 64gb). Knowing the amount of songs, pictures, and apps it can hold will influence my decision greatly.

-Any additional information you know about the phone will be helpful.
-If you know the amount of video/movie time it can hold would help too.

THANK YOU!
10 POINTS TO THE MOST INFORMATIVE ANSWER!

Answer
There is no accurate measure. It really depends on what you plan to put in your iPhone.

Songs on average are 5 mb. Photos are on average 2 - 3 mb. Finally apps ranges depending on the type of app. Gaming apps tend to be closer to 100mb but higher graphic games such as Infinity Blade (around 800mb), Role playing games (700 - 1 Gb), Racing games (Asphalt series - around 800 mb). Other apps tend to be less than 100mb.

16gb can fit around 2,800 songs or 4,500 photos, and a lot of small apps.
Judging by the question 16gb would be too small. Take note that a 16gb iPhone 4S does not actually have 16gb of memory for you to use. It is much closer to 14GB.

32GB can fit double of what 16Gb can fit basically.
This is the model I recommend for you if and only if it is for apps, songs, and pictures. If you want videos, this model might be pushing it because videos take up too much space and you would really be limited on your songs photos and apps.

64GB is the recommended size for any user that likes to put movies/cartoons/tv shows on their iPhones to watch on the go. Since an episode can range anywhere from 200mb to over 1gb depending on quality, 64gb is the perfect size to hold and still have enough space for games, songs, and photos.

Does anyone know of a simple iPhone app that allows you to add captions to photos you have taken?

HardxCorps

Does anyone know of a good app?
Really all I want to do is add captions to pictures I have already taken (not goofy speech bubbles) just simple captions like on facebook.
This isn't necessary, but it would also be nice to be able to organize my photos into groups or albums from the app.

Free apps are preferred, but I'm willing to pay a little for a quality app.

I have the galaxy note 2 and I want to get a iphone bc of the music and apps and the well fashion part of it. I would have to cancel my contract which is 200 dollars plus 199 for the phone. I was thinking that maybe I can just get an ipod and wait for the iphone 6. What do you guys think I should do

Answer
Why would you downgrade ?
Even if free you are considering $399.

You really should remind yourself why you bought the NOTE 2 (specifications) and ignore the quite brilliant and persuasive yet FACTUALLY AMBIGUOUS adverts that come out of the orchard

Here is an earlier answer to IP5 or S IV
Not an IPhone

Definitely NOT an IP5 as I don't want to downgrade

Reasons
1)The Samsung Galaxy S II (2)was released in MAY 2011 & has 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor with an 8Mp camera.

18 months later November 2012 Apple puts a 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor & 8Mp camera in a phone and call it the IP5

2)The SGS II is the Dual Core version of the Quad Core SGS III both SGS II & SGS III have won 6 PHONE OF THE YEAR AWARDS.

3)The SGS II is superior and has features not even on the Uber expensive IPhone5.
Not MY opinion proof http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=3621&idPhone2=4238

4) ALL NON APPLE phones you have BLUETOOTH MEDIA TRANSFER (SHARING) photos / music cannot be shared if one phone is an iPhone

5-12) http://finance.yahoo.com/news/8-things-the-iphone-5-still-can-t-do.html?_view=desktop&desktop_view_default=true

If you want the BEST DUAL CORE PHONE MADE BY SAMSUNG TO DATE UNTIL THE S4 MINI comes along get the SGS II, half the price TWICE AS GOOD, those 8 things yes you've guessed it SGS II, CAN DO.

Or put another way the 5th Samsung phone is superior to the best iPhone
S IV; SGS III & NOTE 2 [Quad Core] S 4Mini SGS II

The IP5 IS OVERPRICED, many EG BB Z10 are vastly superior. Apple is years behind

Your move will be retrograde from Quad to Dual

How do you make your Instagram photos look cartoonish?

Any other tips on how to make your photos look super neato?

Answer
I have an iPhone app called ToonCamera, which allows you to make your images look like a colorful cartoon or ink sketch. So you can probably take a picture through ToonCamera, save that picture, then edit the photo with Instagram. Alternatively, you could use Photoshop effects to make your image appear as a drawing. Hope this helps!

Is there any apps for the LG Dare phone?

Jey

I want to know if there are any apps for the LG Dare phone.

I would really like a twitter app or radio app if it's possible.

Answer
LG's latest handset, however, dares to take things in a different direction. The appropriately named LG Dare presents a few tricks we haven't seen before in the touch-screen phone genre. For example, you can drag and drop icons to make your own customized shortcuts on the home screen, or you can use a drawing pad to sketch ideas or draw a map, which can then be sent via MMS to a friend. The Dare also has one of the most advanced cameras we've seen on a touch-screen phone--its 3.2-megapixel camera has settings like face detection, noise reduction, panorama photo stitching, and a SmartPic technology designed for taking photos in low light. The built-in camcorder can even record high-speed video and play it back in slow-motion, which is a first for U.S. camera phones. We certainly wouldn't want to call this an iPhone killer since it doesn't have features such as Wi-Fi, and its Web browser and media player aren't as good. However, the Dare is a very appealing alternative for Verizon customers who want a touch-screen phone with a difference. The LG Dare is priced competitively at $199 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a two-year service agreement.

Design
Like all touch-screen phones, the LG Dare's design is dominated by a large display covering almost the entirety of the phone's front surface. Indeed, the only visible keys on the front are the Call, Clear/Voice command, and End/Power keys at the very bottom. The Dare is quite a bit smaller than both the iPhone and the Samsung Instinct, measuring only 4.1 inches long by 2.2 inches wide by 0.5 inch thick. It has a stainless steel border along its sides, and a black soft touch surface on the back that gives it a nice grip in the hand. It weighs about 3.76 ounces, which gives it a light yet solid feel.

The smaller size of the Dare also results in a smaller space for the 3-inch-wide display (compared with the 4-plus-inch displays on the other two phones). Though we were fine with it for most applications, we'll admit that it deters us from enjoying the full HTML browser (which we'll get to in the Features section), since it means we have to do more scrolling than usual. The display supports 262,000 colors and a 240x400-pixel resolution, which results in a stunning and colorful screen with vibrant graphics and clean text. You can adjust the backlight time, the menu fonts, the dial fonts, the display theme, and even the image of the charging screen. You can also choose animated wallpaper if you like

Along the bottom row of the display's home screen are five shortcut icons to the messaging in-box, the phone interface, the main menu, the phonebook, and a favorites menu (which is a customizable graphical layout of up to nine favorite contacts). There's also a small arrow icon on the far right of the display (about a third of the way down), which leads to a list of 11 shortcuts that you can select from 51 possible applications. You can drag and drop these shortcut icons to change the order in which they appear. However, the coolest thing is that you can also drag and drop them directly to the home screen. Simply tap on an icon and drag it toward the home screen, and let go. You can then arrange the icons anywhere on your home screen as well.

Going back to the Favorites menu, not only do you have a graphical layout of your favorite contacts, but you can also drag and drop them around the screen. After selecting a contact, you can either have instant access to a new text message or an immediate phone call. You can also edit that contact information on the spot.

Another innovative aspect of the Dare's touch screen is the option for a "scattered" menu interface layout. You can then drag and drop the scattered icons to new positions in the menu. We found this to be quite fun and intuitive, but can't help but think it's rather unnecessary. We would have been just as happy with the traditional grid menu layout (which is a menu style option as well). Throughout the menu interface, you will see a back arrow on the upper left, which will lead you back to the previous screen, and a Home button, which will lead you back to the home screen.

Like the Instinct, the Dare offers haptic tactile feedback, which gives tiny vibrations when tapping on the screen. It's very helpful when selecting menu options, since it provides a physical confirmation of the selection. You can go through a calibration wizard to adjust to the screen's sensitivity, and you can adjust the vibrate type (short, double, or long) and vibrate level (low, medium, high, or off altogether). You can also turn on "vibration when scrolling," which sets off tiny vibrations when scrolling up and down lists. We actually recommend this, so you know you're scrolling through a list and not accidentally selecting something.

This brings us to the touch interface itself. While we largely enjoyed the touch interface experience, we have to admit there is still a slight learning curve. Often we would select something without meaning to, especially when scrolling up and down lists or dragging icons around. The touch interface is certainly more sensitive than we thought it would be, even after going through the calibration wizard. After a day or two of fiddling around with it though, we learned to adjust.

We found dialing and texting to be quite easy, even with the touch-screen interface. The phone interface consists of the standard numeric keypad, a voice command button, a handwriting button that will let you "write" the numbers instead of using the keypad, plus two shortcuts to the recent calls list and the contacts list. The keypad features nice big numbers, and after you're done dialing, you can hit either the green Call button, or the physical Talk button on the lower left. There's also a Save key for storing new phone numbers. During a call, a few shortcut icons appear to activate the speakerphone, call mute, send a text message, add a note, connect to a Bluetooth headset, and even voice record.

There are several input options for texting. You can either use the virtual T9 keypad, or you can twist the phone 90 degrees in the counterclockwise direction and a QWERTY keyboard will automatically appear. We're then able to tap on each key with our thumbs. Tapping each key will magnify that key momentarily, just like on the iPhone. The keyboard has a dedicated space bar, return button, period, and alias (@) keys, plus a Shift button to switch between capital letters and other symbols. Unlike the iPhone, you can indeed copy and paste text, simply by highlighting with your fingers and hitting a Copy button. However, the Dare doesn't correct your spelling.

The LG Dare has a 3.5mm headset jack.

Another method for entering text would be via handwriting, or a graffiti method. The handwriting recognition works quite well, but we did have some problems with it. For one thing, we had to keep switching modes between capital letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols--it wasn't smart enough to figure out the characters on its own. Also, it's a lot easier to handwrite with a stylus, or if you have long fingernails--using just our fingertips resulted in more mistakes.

The Dare also has a proximity sensor that will automatically turn off the LCD while in a call to prevent accidental touch input, similar to the iPhone. It also has a light sensor that adjusts brightness automatically to conserve on battery life. As mentioned above, the Dare has an accelerometer that will rotate the display 90 degrees counterclockwise for certain applications like the browser, the texting keypad, and other applications. For the picture view screen and the music player, the screen can be rotated 360 degrees.

On the left spine of the Dare is a Hold key, a microSD card slot, a speakerphone key, and a USB charging jack. On the top is a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the volume rocker and dedicated camera sit on the right spine. On the back of the phone is the camera lens and LED flash. There's no self-portrait mirror though.

Features
The Dare comes with a generous 1,000-entry contacts list with room in each entry for five numbers and two e-mail addresses. You can also save callers to groups, and you can pair them with a photo and one of 26 polyphonic ringtones. Other essential features include text and multimedia messaging, a vibrate mode, a speakerphone, a calculator, a tip calculator, a calendar, an alarm clock, a stopwatch, a world clock, and a notepad. More advanced features include full Bluetooth support with stereo A2DP, the capability to use the phone as a modem, and file transfer. There's also mobile e-mail, mobile instant messaging, a USB mass storage mode, voice command and voice dialing, voice recording, and GPS functionality via Verizon's VZ Navigator service. Mobile e-mail is restricted to popular Web mail services such as Hotmail, Yahoo, and AOL, so it's not nearly as robust as using a smartphone.

A nice bonus feature on the Dare is a drawing pad. This pad lets you sketch little doodles or draw a rough map with a variety of pen sizes and colors. You can then send this image to your friends via MMS if you wish.

The Dare has a full HTML browser. It won't support Flash, but that's fine for a phone such as this. As we mentioned earlier, you can rotate the phone to display the browser in landscape mode, which makes entering URLs a lot easier via the QWERTY keyboard. However, the browser experience is nowhere as clean as the Safari browser on the iPhone. Zooming in and out is a pain--we had to use either the onscreen controls or the volume keys to do so. Panning the browser page with our fingers took some time, as the screen responded slowly. Also, since the display is small, we often had to do a lot of scrolling to see everything. Alternatively, if

What's a really good photography app for the iPhone 4 ?

I want a really good one, that'll let me do whatever. I mostly want one that can let me put 2 pictures together, like next to each other ?

Answer
I see my friends always take pictures with an app called Camwow, but I have an Android so I don't exactly know lol If you want to edit pictures I use PicSay, check to see if they have it for iPhone. It's very good. Also there are tons of collage maker apps. You just need to download some and try them out for yourself and see which works the best :)

I'd like to pick up photography as a hobby. Any suggestions or tips?

Octavian

I don't have a fancy camera or anything. I have a 7 mp point and shoot cameta and I have a galaxy s4 with a 12 mp camera I believe. So any tips?

Answer
Octavian,

I'm assuming that since you've mentioned the cameras you do have, that that's what you want to start your photo hobby with... Rather than investing hundreds of dollars to buy a new camera. There's plenty you can do to experiment & learn the aesthetic principles of photography with the gadgets you have.

I suggest you start with Phoneography and your Galaxy S4. There are all sorts of photog related apps out there you can try with it - I recommend these 4 'camera' apps to start with for image capture purposes - Camera FV-5 (Lite), HDR Camera, Pudding Camera, & Panorama Camera. To process your images, once you've captured them, try the app: Snapseed.

This is a good site for photo taking tips (rather than me typing tons here...), but they are iPhone bigots. They also sell all kinds of photo gadgets if you're into that kind of thing (like mini macro, wide angle and telephoto lenses that will work with your S4). So just ignore all the iPhone only attitude nonsense and find the Android equivalents to what they talk about (such as the apps I've listed above - be careful on the physical gadgets, they likely will not fit an S4 if touted for an iPhone in many but not all cases). http://content.photojojo.com/tips/improve-your-phoneography/

Any of the regular photo composition, exposure and lighting principles should hold in phoneography just as they would using traditional cameras. You can Google each of those topics in Digital Photography School online to learn photo principles.

Good luck! Be experimental. Be creative. You're looking for a hobby, not a source of income. Play around and have fun with what you capture & how you present it to others. Happy shooting.

iPodRip is the best program that recovers your songs and playlists. Don't search for a software that is able to recover songs, playlists and even photos from your iPod. iPodRip supports all iPods ( it supports even iPod Touch ) and iPhones and the best part is that you don't have to be an expert to recover them, the recovery process is very simple and intuitive and you can recover them very easy and quickly.

Pod to PC is the perfect solution for those who want to copy, transfer or rip videos, music and playlists from iPod to PC. This program is compatible with all generations of iPhone, iPod Nano, iPod Touch, iPod Shuffle, iPod Video, iPod and iPod Photo. It is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000, XP ( all versions ) and with Vista, iTunes 8.0 or more recent versions.

How to get more followers on Instagram?

Answer
Best ways to gain followers. 10 tips. By @jake23mat

1. Use hashtags. Google the top hashtags and copy/paste them on your pictures. You can only do 30 at a time though.

2. Like/Comment on other photos. Other people are more likely to check out your photos once you check theirs out. Also, when you like multiple pictures of a user, they see your username pop up repeatedly on their screen and are more likely to go to your profile.

3. Always reply to other people's comments. If someone says "Nice Photo!!" on one of your pictures, always respond by thanking them. Users are more likely to follow someone they feel they can interract with.

4. Make your account public. People will want to see your photos before they follow you.

5. Post good photos. Nobody wants to see boring photos. Post fun, beautiful, clean, and exciting photos!

6. Use editing apps. Snapseed, Vscocam, Picstitch, and afterlight are great apps to use. These apps are better than the instagram filters.

7. If you must, buy followers. But it shouldn't matter that much.

8. Post regularly, but not too frequently. Once or maybe twice a day is perfect.

9. Realize what time you post your pictures. People aren't going to see your photos at 3am. Now 10am right after people wake up? That's good. Or 6pm right after people get off work? That's great too!

10. Connect your account to facebook. That way your facebook friends will see your instagram account and follow you.

Hope it helps!

How to sync iPhone with new itunes without losing data?

Kate M

My laptop broke and so now I have no itunes to sync my iphone with. Luckily I have all my music on a different computer. Is there a way I can sync my iphone with the other computer (to update etc) without losing all my data: contacts, notes, photos, apps etc?

Answer
Auto sync with new computer will erase iphone contents those not purchased from itunes store, but the contacts will be kept, notes not sure.
itunes blocks this function since itunes is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to iphone. you must utilize other tools to achieve that. There're couple of tools for transferring the files between iphone and computer (for backup)depends on your demands, e.g transfer only songs/videos, transfer photos etc. You can have a look of below review site, hope it useful.
