iphone photo apps blur image

My contract finally ends next year and I will be switching back to Verizon for sure. I'm still in a hole deciding what phone to get between the galaxy s3 and the iPhone 5. I've heard both are good phones, but I can't make up my mind. I've always been an apple person. Macbooks, iMacs, iPods, etc. Which one would be better for me? I also have small hands too.
Answer
You should get the iPhone 5.

Has continuous autofocus when recording movies, unlike the Samsung. When recording movies they stay focused and sharp.
Explicitly less shutter lag: 0.24 s vs 0.35 s(Samsung). 0.11 s less shutter lag. How long does the camera need to take a photo without having to focus
Has AF tracking , unlike the Samsung. With AF tracking, once you choose the subject and press the shutter release part way down, as the subject moves, the autofocus will follow it. No more out of focus shots.
Distinctly less startup delay 0.84 vs 0.99s... 0.15 less startup delay
recording

Thinner 7.6 mm vs 8.6 mm 1 mm thinner
Lighter 112 g vs 133 g 21 g lighter
Reasonably shorter 123.8 mm vs 136.6 mm 12.8 mm shorter
Explicitly lower SAR for body (USA) 1.18 W/kg vs 1.49 W/kg 0.31 W/kg lower SAR for body (USA). SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) describes how much radio frequency energy emitted by the device will be absorbed by your body. The rate is measured at hip level. The legal limit is 1.6 W/kg in the USA. (some ppl have linked SAR to cancer)
Significantly less body volume 55.1 cm³ vs 82.94 cm³ 33.57% less body volume
display

Aperture sizes are expressed in f-stops, the smaller the better. In addition, wide lenses provide a narrow depth of field enabling to focus on the subject and blur the background.
