I have a laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit that has a built in webcam. I just want some basic software that I can use to take webcam pics and save them to my hard drive. No photo editing, no modified backgrounds, no sound effects, etc just taking pictures. I'm not looking to get bloatware. Does anyone have any recommendations?
My laptop doesn't have webcam software on it right now.

I made the mistake of shooting some pictures for a friend totally in RAW....Now my computer will not read them! I need to edit these and get them back to her pretty quickly. How do I get them to show up on my computer?

I am on an MSI laptop using Windows 7. I am getting the message: "Photo gallery can't open this photo or video. This file format is not supported."

Go to the website of the camera brand, look for a support section to download the codec specific to the camera. After installing the codec, Windows preview/gallery apps should be able to show and open the RAW files. However, you still need to use a photo editing application to adjust the images and save them in usual formats like TIFF, PNG, or JPG.
