photo editing apps for windows 8 image

I cannot run .bat file with its default program and it opens in notepad(i don't want run it as administrator mode). This problem occured because of advance system optimizer. I checked all the boxes in the security scan even in the file associations because it said that .bat files are often use my malwares and spywares(there were also other options related related to file associations). I hope you understand. I had not made any backup. So i need a third party software which will fix or restore my file association issue. Thanks in advance. Remember i have windows 8, i need a supportive software.

A default program is the program that Windows uses automatically when you open a particular type of file, such as a song, movie, photo, or webpage. For example, you might have more than one photo-editing program installed on your PC. You can choose one of them to be the default program that starts whenever you open a photo.
â¢Open Default Programs by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Search), entering Default Programs in the search box, tapping or clicking Apps, and then tapping or clicking Default Programs.
Set your default programs:
Use this option to choose which programs you want Windows to use as the default. What you choose will only apply to your user account and won't affect other user accounts on this PC.
To set a default program:
1.Open Default Programs by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Search), entering Default Programs in the search box, tapping or clicking Apps, and then tapping or clicking Default Programs.

How fast is an Intel i3 processor? And what Intel processor would be equal to an AMD 8?

See, I am hunting for a new Windows 8 Ultrabook. I found a couple ultrabooks which are both touch screen and only $500, while other touch screen ultrabooks cost a couple hundred dollars more. One is an Asus Vivobook and the other is an HP sleekbook. However, my only concern is that the Asus has an Intel i3 core. I want to multitask a lot on me device as easily as switching between apps on an iPad. My main needs are Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Web browsing, email, facebook, online games, some apps, CD and DVD burning, photo and video editing, video calls, iTunes, I think you get the idea. I do am not some hardcore PC gamer so I don't need too intensive speed, but I want about the same speed and responsiveness as an iPad. If an i3 is too slow for me, would an AMD 8-4555M be speedy? And what Intel processor would it correspond to? By the way, the HP is clocked at 1.60 GHz with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.40 GHz, and the Asus at 1.8.

the amd a8 is a quad core, the i3 is a dual core. not only is an i3 a dual core, for the price it i not a very good processor.however i would not buy from microsoft or an asus ,asus quality has gone downhill. often you can find good laptops on clearance at retailers like best buy.contact me if you need more help.
