Are there any easy to use iPad photo editing apps that work like Photoshop?

I teach an iPad only class and have to teach a photoshop unit. We will be adding people to famous images from across the decades, removing obstacles from the background, etc. I am looking for a photo editing app that would work like Photoshop's magnetic lasso tool, but would work on iPad 1.

The new Adobe Photoshop Touch app should fit your needs, but I don't know if it works on iPad 1.

I was wondering if there are any photo editing apps that can use partial blur.

If you don't know what it is, when you blur out a bit of a photo. It looks really good in photos when the background is blurred!
