(iPhone users) How to recover certain photos?

I have two wallpaper photos I want to recover, one from the screen before you slide to unlock, and the photo where all the apps are. All these photos have been deleted on the camera roll or pictures app. I wanted to know if there are any other places I have missed or a guide to recover those 2 photos. Thanks in advance.

If you have sync your iPhone to iTunes, you can restore the whole backup to find the photos you've lost. But you may lost the current data on your iPhone. So you'd better be careful. If you don't have iPhone backup on iTunes, you can easily and fast recover the lost iPhone photos or other files using an iPhone data recovery software. I have an iPad & an iPhone. I am not sure what the difference is between backing up w/iCloud vs iTunes?

Totally new to these apple products. Basically what I want to know is backing up to iCloud the same as backing up with iTunes . Also, is syncing with iTunes the same as backing up w/iTunes.

I suggest just back up to your computer it is basically the same cuz I backed up to icloud and then I updated my iPod and my iPod went into recovery mode and I couldn't save any of my things on the computer unless I restored my iPod so I did that because I knew all my photos etc. we're backed up to icloud and then when I checked NONE of my photos were there only my apps ! :( I lose over 4000 photos so my opinion is that for me icloud was a waste of time so I suggest you back up regularly to your computer :)
