what does the new apple ipad have?

Charlotte
i'm not on about the ipod am on about the new ipad and i am wondering if anyone knows whether it has microsoft word and photoshop on it and if it hasn't would it be possible to download it
Answer
The iPad doesn't have "Microsoft Word", but it has Apple iWorks which are three separate programs: Pages (a word processor, which will allow you to save a word processing document in MS Word format), Keynote (presentation program similar to MS PowerPoint), and Numbers (spreadsheet program, similar to MS Excel).
Each are only $9.99.
See this presentations demoing the programs --

It has some powerful features, but it depends upon your needs.

There was a drawing program at the keynote presentation - Brushes. See --

I imagine that there eventually will be a photoshop-like program better utilizing the iPad, or you could use one of the following iPhone image editors --

Here's a demonstration of PhotoForge, which looks pretty powerful.

Here's Photoshop Mobile for the iPhone

Photoshop Mobile is fairly basic, but is free. PhotoForge has a LOT more features. Hopefully other programs are out there (or become available for the iPad) with functionality similar to full blown Adobe PhotoShop.
You'll have to keep your ears and eyes open if Microsoft Word becomes available - or if Photoshop is updated for the iPad.
