I never owned an ipod touch and now is my chance to buy one. What are the advantages /disadvantages?

Doesn't matter if you pre order or buy from the store.The advantage are its got more features like Siri which was not available in the previous versions of ipod touch.iOS 6 will make it even more better with an iSight camera with an LED flash and face detection help you get the shot every time. Also, I don't have picture messaging but i found an app that is free picture messaging but you have to have a different number so, if i get an iphone4 i would have 2 numbers. Also, if there are any good games or cool apps please let me know. Thanks for the help!(:

I would get the iPhone 4, many people dont think there is much of a difference, but bellow i have listed all the features the iPhone 4 has that the iPod touch 4 doesnt.
-The iPhone has a better design
-The iPhone materials feel premium
-The iPhone has an LED Flash
-The iPhone has an 5MP camera, and the iPod touch only has a 0.7MP camera, yes thats right, only 0.7MP.
-The iPhone's camera has a backside illuminated sensor, which lets you take good photos in the dark
-The iPhone is a phone
-The iPhone allows you to send SMS and MMS
-The iPhone has 3G
-The iPhone has louder speaks which are clearer and better
-The iPhone has dual mics, and both the mics are located in a better position
-The iPhone is tougher and harder to scratch
-The iPhone can take HDR photos
-The iPhone has 512MB of RAM, the iPod touch only has 256MB
-The iPhone has a much better battery life
-The iPhone has a brighter screen
-The iPhone has a brilliant IPS display, which means you can view the screen from almost an angle.
-The iPhone has a vibrator
-The iPhone has a silent switch
-The iPhone has an easy to reach lock button. The lock button on the iPod touch is hard to get to and you need to press it hard.
-The iPhone comes in a 16GB model, which is the best size you can get. 32GB is too much and 8GB is TOO LITTLE.
-The iPhone has a GPS
