Citrify, iPiccy, FotoFlexer or Lunapic are great all round web based and FREE editing tools. Adobe, makers of the expensive Photoshop, has a free website version in Photoshop Express. If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. There are also free tools to add text blurbs, to make collages, to put your photo into other images. There are a number of tools that allow you to put the image of a face into other photos for some fun creations.

Does anyone know of a digital photo editing program that can make photos look like drawings?

Sarita

I have scene Facebook applications that allow you to take a digital photo of a person and make them look like they are hand-drawn sketches. I am trying to find out if any photo editing software like can do that as well. Specifically, I"m trying to find a way to 'simplify' a photo of a person's face to make it look like a sketch that could then be screenprinted onto a t-shirt. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!

  1. Halide is probably the most popular photo editing app for those who take mobile photography seriously — and also one of my favorite apps for iPhone. It features all the advanced controls you’d expect from a professional camera, including shutter speed, ISO, and white balance adjustments.

However, Halide is more than a camera app with manual controls. The app has some unique features to enhance photos by using artificial intelligence and other technologies.

  2. Thank you for this post. For a free photo editing solution, PicMonkey can be the best solution for instant photo editing. PicMonkey has different photo editing features such as an instant background removal option, smart resize of photos and a Brand kit. Anyone can take its freemium service if want.
