I currently have a blackberry curve and I am looking to upgrade. My curve is not broken or anything so I am in no hurry. I have been looking at the new phones and they seem to do a lot more than my curve does. LOL

I have had several Blackberry phones over the last 2 years. Started with the Curve 8830 and fell in love with it! Since then I have had the Tour, Storm, and Storm 2. I LOVED my Storm 2, but when my brother got a Droid, I had to return my Storm 2 for the Droid. It is an AWESOME phone. It is totally customizable and has push email for Gmail or other email (except Yahoo unless you pay Yahoo's fee to be able to port your email). The App Store has tons of Apps for anything from games to photo editing to a flashlight (which BB also has a flashlight app). The drawbacks are the thing about Yahoo email and the slide-out keypad sucks on the Droid. Even tho the keypad on the Storm was a virtual qwerty keypad, I liked it MUCH better than the Droid's keypad.

At times I really miss my Storm 2, but there is just so much more available on the Droid that I try to suffer through the terrible keypad usage daily.

As far as the upgrade goes, there are a few new phones coming out on Verizon next year, including the Palm Pre (which I am personally going to have to try out), the BB Tour 2, and a couple of other Android phones which don't seem like they are going to overpower the Droid.

I can't tell you which way to go because I am constantly on the fence about phones (friends call me the eBay queen because that's where I get most of my phones). The browser is excellent on the Droid and is just okay on the Storm 2 as far as the speed goes. I guess you just have to decide which is more important to you. Like I say, I debate on selling my Droid even tho I really like it and getting a Storm 2 every day, so I may be of no help! I may just have to face facts that I am a Crackberry addict for life! Hahaha!

What apps are the best for Samsung Galaxy S 3? Which ones should I download?

Some apps that I have are:
*Zedge(free)- This has a lot of free wallpapers (live and not), ringtones, and notification tones

*SwiftKey3 Keyboard (free 30 day trial/lifetime 3.99 purchase)-a great keyboard that oredicts what you type by learning your style of typing, themes,, very easy to use

*Where's my droid (free, or pro paid version)-lets you find your phone by making it make a siren sound by texting it a key phrase even if it's on silent you can find it, or find it on a gps if it is stolen.

*Any flashlight app is good too, I have "flashlight" which is also free

*PicsArt-(free)-Edit photos, filter/distort/etc., collage photos, or draw on photos.

*Phone Overheat(free)-in case you watch a lot of videos or play apps and multitask, this will alert you if your phone battery is getting to hot

*QR Droid(free)-lets you scan QR codes and normal barcodes then look them up with ease

*Google Goggles(free)-Scan foreign text and traslate it, scan famous paintings/sites and read about them, scan logos too

*Dictionary.com(free)-you know what that is, it also allows access to thesaurus

*SetCPU for root users(1.99)- if you have rooted your phone this allows you to change your CPU speed to make your phone faster or to save battery

*SoundHound(free, or a stupid 5.99 version that is not worth it)-way better than Shazam, recognizes music playing or being sung and gives you lyrics, title, artist, ticket info, artsist bio, etc.

*Where's my water(free limited version, or .99 full version)-Very very fun game, it does take quite a bit of space and battery but, whatever :)

*Netflix(free)- If you have a netflix this allows access to the instant queue and you can watch instantly from your phone, this also take up battery so make sure you have your phone connected, and wifi available if you have limited data.

*ColorNote Notepad Notes To Do (free)- very helpful for making a checklist and you can make widgets of a certain thing a put it on a home screen, and put note into your calendar. taking notes is okay but I think there are other apps a lot better for taking notes like Evernote (free)

*And Lastly TEMPLE RUN(free)- Everyones gotta love this game

Hope I helped you find some good apps :)
