iphone photo apps overlay image

Becca

So I'm looking for apps for iPhone. I wanna do edits on instagram. Like cool ones. Not just filters. If you go to some instagram pages, they had photos of eyes and like, the eyelashes turn into trees. Stuff like that. Abstract things. I use photoshop and filterstorm and overlay. But I'm looking for apps. Preferably free but if not that's okay. Any ideas?

Check old OldBooth, Photogene, Best Camera App, Comicfy, TiltShift, Night Camera and many more iPhone Applications - there are tons to try out.

samsung galaxy s2 good phone?

hahaha

im due for an upgrade next month and im looking at the samsung galaxy s2 as my new phone, but im still considering other phones like iphone 4s and htc vivid. but im a teenager and like texting, internet, calling for parents, music (have an iPod), alarm, some games, and reminders/notes. my samsung impression did alright at these things, but the games and reminders were bad, and calling has been acting up recently, like i cant hear anyone on the other side, but they can hear me. so would samsung galaxy s2 be a good replacement? both my parents have iphone 3gs and will probably upgrade to 4s anyways so might as well be different, plus i want to make my phone feel unique.

If you want to make your phone unique you should definitely go for the S2. Android (the operating system the S2 runs) is known for being the most customisable mobile operating system. You can change everything from the keyboard to the theme the applications you use to message, take photos, listen to music and much more. You can even change the software of the phone itself it you have the know how. The S2 does everything on your list and much, much more. The Android Market is nearly as well populated with great games and apps as the App Store is these days, so you won't be lacking there. There are light years between the Samsung Impression & the Galaxy S2. Android also has great notifications (which Apple copied with its latest software update).
The iPhone 4S is also a great phone, but there is very little you can do to make the phone your own (change your wallpaper, and um...?) The iPhone 4S has a much smaller screen than the S2, so you might want to take that into consideration.
I wouldn't bother considering the HTC Vivid. HTC do produce good phones but the screen is less vibrant and vivid than the S2's. Also, HTC has an overlay called HTC Sense which I find unattractive.
But to be honest, all of the phones you are considering are excellent, though I see no reason not to choose the Galaxy S2. Do not let your bad impressions of the Impresssion put you off. Samsung's hardware and the Android OS are incredible and after using a number of phones over the past year (including an iPhone 4 and even a Windows Phone 7 device) nothing touches the Galaxy S2.
If you want a the simplest phone, go for the iPhone. But it's just like everyone else's iPhone. The Galaxy S2 can be as simple or complicated as you like. It can be made to look, and feel exactly how you like, with minimal little effort. So it's down to personal preference.
