How do I delete photo albums from my iPod?!?

I've been trying forever to delete this photo album from my iPod Touch. The Apple support website said to plug in my iPod to iTunes, go to my iPod summary, and click "Enable Disk Use" but I've checked again and again and Enable Disk Use does not exist! I just want this album gone but no matter how many ways I've tried, I cannot delete it. Help, please!

Show your photo albums on computer and enable your iPod as hard disk with the iPod transfer software. itunes may wipe your files on iPod when using as a HDD.

Any good software out there that is free or reasonable? I have thousands of things to transfer 40 free transfers won't cut it. And I can't see spending $35 to do this once
